Stop At: Abbazia di Sant'Antimo, Castelnuovo dell'Abate, Montalcino, Tuscany
Board your luxury coach, and travel from Rome to Tuscany with its scenic, rolling hills. Your first stop is Montepulciano, a town renowned for its fine wine and views. The Renaissance hilltown is best-known for its production of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, a full-bodied red wine. Learn about it on a walking tour and discover highlights such as the Florence-style clock tower, the cathedral with its yet-to-be-finished fa ade, medieval wine cellars and the old town walls.
After a break for photos, travel further into Tuscany to explore the area around Montalcino. Step inside Sant’ Antimo Abbey, and then soak up the vistas that stretch beyond the vineyards.
Hear how the local vineyards produce the acclaimed Brunello di Montepulciano wine, and then sample a glass for yourself over a 3-course lunch at a local farm. In traditional Tuscan style, the menu features fresh farm-grown produce as well as a selection of local wine.

Stop At: Piazza Pio II, Pienza, Tuscany
From the farm, travel on to Pienza, one of the region’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Here, enjoy up to 45 minutes of free time to explore. The layout of the town was created by Pope Pius II, who wanted to change the look of his birth town. Admire the historic center, which stays true to the pope’s vision, and gaze at the fine architecture that abounds. If you are a fan of food, check the shops for pecorino cheese, arguably Pienza’s most prized product.
Your day trip finishes with your coach journey back from Tuscany to Rome.

Incredible experience. Not only did Tuscany not disappoint but the tour guide "Andy" was the best tour guide we've ever had! The day was filled with activities, incredible info from Andy on EVERYTHING related to the Tuscany (and more!). love the wine tasting and lunch, loved the meat and oil tasting, really everything was perfect and for a 12-13 hour excursion the time went by super quick and I think Andy is the biggest reason why.

The tour was well organized, hit all the spots on the itinerary and as was noted, it was a nice taste of Tuscany! I would love to come back and discover the region on my own. And of course, Laura- our guide was wonderful and gave us useful information about Italy and the region.

Best tour ever!! I will do it again when I come next. It was beautiful and even the stop over to use bathrooms was awesome because you could try all Italian delicacies.

There were five people in our group and each one of us loved the tour. Our guide, Anestis and driver, Boris, were very informative and we all had a good time together. Our stop in Florence was breathtaking and enjoyed the statue of David. We had lunch in a pizzeria in Florence and then went to Pisa where we were only there for a short time, but it was plenty of time for pictures.

This trip was so much fun and everyone should experience the Tuscany area. Our tour guide Paola was excellent and very knowledgeable of every aspect of the area. The local food was great and the wine outstanding. The best trip so far with Viator.

This trip was amazing. Our guide was Kyle who was fantastic, her knowledge of Roman history was outstanding. I felt that this really put things in perspective. The lunch at the Tuscany winery was great it was 3 courses and I'm never had better food. I've already recommended it to my group on Facebook and I've told everyone was a great tour this is...I will be coming back for other tours and I hope I get Kyle!! It your thinking about doing a side tour I highly recommend this one. I bought all my gifts for back home on this tour...
