    產品介紹

After your cruise ship arrives at the Civitavecchia port, you'll be picked up for the 1-hour coach journey to Rome (duration may change depending on traffic conditions) to enjoy your full-day shore excursion. Arrive at Vatican City, a walled enclave in Rome ruled by the almighty Pope.

Bypass the lines and head straight inside the Vatican Museums with your skip-the-line entry ticket. Comprised of 54 galleries, the Vatican Museums display a collection of works developed by the Roman Catholic Church throughout the centuries, including some of the most renowned Renaissance art in the world.

Stroll the museums, galleries, hallways and chapels at your own pace, pausing along the way to admire the many sculptures, statues, paintings, murals and historic artifacts on display. Highlights include the Maps Gallery, the Candelabra Gallery, Raphael’s Rooms, Pio Clementino's Rooms, the Tapestry Gallery, the Belvedere Courtyard and the Pine Courtyard.

Then pass through the Sistine Chapel, the official residence of the Pope. Gaze up to marvel at Michelangelo's breathtaking masterpiece on the ceiling, often considered one of the most beautiful paintings ever created.

After exiting the Sistine Chapel, wander St Peter's Square, a massive plaza in front of majestic St Peter's Basilica, the largest cathedral in the world whose iconic dome dominates the Rome skyline. Enter the church to admire spectacular Renaissance architecture and artworks.

At the end of your visit to Vatican City, you have free time to explore Vatican surroundings. In the afternoon, meet your driver at the same point you have been dropped off in the morning  hop in the coach and relax on the 1-hour drive back to Civitavecchia.

    Worry-free Shore Excursion:
We will ensure your timely return to the Civitavecchia port for this activity. In the rare event your ship has departed, we will arrange for transportation to the next port-of-call. If your ship is delayed and you are unable to attend this activity, your money will be refunded. See our terms and conditions for full details.

Please note: On arrival at the Vatican Museums complex, you will need to present your passport or ID card in order to receive an audio guide. If you are unable to present such a document, a deposit of 25 euros (approx.) is required. Your document or deposit will be returned at the end of the tour.

it was a bit confusing as to what we actually were supposed to be getting for this tour.
We were taken to the Vatican museum and admitted by the tour guide and left on our own. We were then picked up afterwards. it was really just transport into Rome

The skip-the-line aspect of this tour was certainly worthwhile. There were about 20 of us to make the trip from Civitavecchia to Rome in a comfortable bus. At the start, the tour guide was late and didn't have a clear, large enough sign for us to spot the Viator Tour, easily. Once we arrived in Rome, we were more than 30 minutes early at the entrance as we had an 11:00 a.m. scheduled group entrance at the Museum--a waste of precious time as we were all standing around grumbling. The tour guide announced that the pick-up point would be at the Museum exit instead at the Colosseum which we were all expecting as that was how the excursion was published when we signed up. As a group we felt slighted as we would not be able to see the famous Roman Colosseum. Five star for skip-the-line and the Vatican Museum, one star for not being informed of the pick up change and the disappointment for not being able to see the Colosseum.

This tour started off horrible. The driver never showed up at the destination point that was on the instructions but about 8 of us were waiting ahead of time after calling the station which the operator kept telling us to stay there he was on his way a whole hour and a half went by and finally she tells us he's at the ship why is what I never figured out. She claimed they changed the meeting point and sent emails which I never received, nor did anyone else and when he finally came, I was frustrated, hot and he had the nerve to be RUDE about the situation! Telling me NOT to talk to him about the incident, call the number! There seemed to be 15 more minutes of confusion on which van there were putting me in as they broke up our group of people who were waiting I was traveling alone. Finally, when we get to the Vatican, the man hands MY ticket to a couple who had to go find and check their luggage so I had to follow them! took up more time!! Our tickets ended up on ONE sheet of paper, so I had not choice, again, I'm was LIVID! Luckily the couple was nice, the luggage check was quick and we actually ended up touring the Vatican together and had a wonderful, tiring day! The skip the line pass is the ONLY way to go for me seeing how the line went on for miles and miles and miles. It seemed to have wrapped around the building and down several blocks. I couldn't understand WHO would want to wait in a line that long! Once inside there was much to see, but BE WARNED there is PLENTLY OF WALKING, PLENTY OF STAIRS, PLENTY OF LONG HALLS, HOT and HUMID bring water and some food!!!!!!!!!! I did not, and I almost fainted. I had to rush myself to the bathroom and drink water from the sink and pour water on myself to cool my body temp. I was also very hungry, I didn't eat breakfast on the ship that morning. Huge mistake!!!

Good tour, Better value for money than ships excursions, although a bit confusing waiting for tour guide at the bus station lots of tours departing same time. The Vatican was very crowded so would only recommend if it's the vatican you really want to see. Be prepared for crowds...

This company provides outstanding customer service! Originally we were to take the shuttle to the entry to the port. A later email which I did not pay enough attention to, told us we'd be picked up at the ship. We took the shuttle to the entry and did not see our tour. They called me, we returned to the ship where the driver had waited for us for over an hour. Super friendly and helpful. The entry to the Vatican museum was pretty chaotic, but just because of the sheer numbers of people. I'm told it's like this at the Vatican year 'round, otherwise I'd try to visit during off season. I'd not do the Vatican again, but 100 percent would use Viator again.

First of all there was chaos at the Port entrance where we were supposed to meet the guide. After a while when we managed to find her, she took us to the bus and many people who were slow in walking took a long time to come to the bus and were very agitated with the guide.
Secondly and most importantly, please do NOT call this trip Rome Day Trip as we saw NOTHING of Rome during this shore excursion. We did not see the Colosseum, or the Trevi Fountain or any of the landmarks of this beautiful city. All we did was the Vatican museum and the Sistine chapel...both of which were very crowded. By the time we finished it was time to get on the bus to drive to Civitaveccia as the port is very far away.
Had we known that we would see nothing of Rome, perhaps we would not have taken this tour. The title is very misleading.

This your was by far the worst tour i've ever booked. i went on a cruise to europe sailing 06/21/15. i booked my tours for cannes, palma de mallorca, floence and pisa with viator. all other tours went smmoth and we had a great time. This tour however was the worst tour. To begin with we were told that there would be an agent with a sign waiting for us by 8:45am. There was no such sign and the agent did not show up until about 9:15am. We had to call the agent several times before we recieved an answer. to make matters worse we did not depart on our tour until 10am. we were only in rome for one day so timing was cruicial for us. we got to rome around 11:30am. we were already so behind schedule that everyone on the bus was equally as upset as we were. the departure time back to the ship was 3:30 in the afternoon. what we thought would be a day tour in rome quickly turned into a 4 hour stop.. this was an expensive tour and it did not deliver. once we arrived we had to wait another 35 minutes in order for the agents to find each other and walk us to the entrance. i was so upset at this point that it was difficult to enjoy the rest of my 3 and a half hours in this tour. there was not enough time to do everything as the tour explained and we had to walk through the museums in a rush in order to see st. peters basilica for about 20 minutes. im never booking with viator again because of this tour. this tour is extremely unorganized and the travel agents this is booked with have no consideration with tourists that are there for a day. there was no urgency in solving any matters and the money paid for two people for this tour was not worth the stress.

The tour was very disappointing. The bus dropped us to Viatican City and got us through the gate and we were all on our own. The tour paid for the $16 admission ticket and no other services except for the ride. We felt the tour was very over priced!

We got from the port to the location to meet the tour bus the description of where to meet the guide was not the same information communicated to me in an email. Once we found the guide and got the bus to the Vatican. that was fine. We entered a building to get group stickers. a new guide joined the group we went to the Vatican. We were told we will meet another new guide when we go up to floor two. We were given a card. It wasn't explained to us the purpose of it.. Some people took the stairs, some tried to access the elevators not working. On floor 2, the former guide who said we would meet him up stairs could not be found. Now we were left on our own. We did not get into the Sistine Chapel and we paid for 'skip the line'. We had no guide to direct us or to follow. The changing of the guides was not properly coordinated. the guides should have made sure all the group members were made aware of the new guides.

We loved this tour. We were picked up and driven to the Vatican Museum with immediate access to inside, no wait. It was beautiful and took a very long time to go through and worth every minute. We had to walk around the outside wall to get to St Peter's square and wait to get into The Basilica and that was looong. I wish we could have just gone into the Basilica directly from the Museum.
