See the Tiber and discover Rome. The Tiber is the heart of the eternal city, it is the Tiber that made Rome great. This river was used for thousands of years to transport whatever Rome needed: Art as well as Food, Obelisks, Statues, Wheat. From the middle ages on, the Tiber was used to power the water mills to make flour. Its beaches served until the end of the XIX century as peers. Now this river is almost invisible to Romans and to visitor as well. Hidden by high walls that are there to contain the power of its water. This tour gives you the opportunity to re-discover the Tiber and see Rome with the eyes of a visitor of over a hundred years ago. Forget traffic, the noise of cars and ambulances. Flow through the calm water with an expert and licensed Rafting Guide, see that Rome can also be Fun, the water suddenly speeding-up and turning the boat around.
