Trastevere is the most typical and picturesque of Rome's neighborhoods, it preserved the old-fashioned buildings, that remained intact over the centuries with all their charm. Roll with ease on a Segway through the tangle of awe-inspiring little streets just as the afternoon light is held captive by antique architecture. It is this soulful and vibrant atmosphere which has rendered the popular Trastevere area as unique and captivating.
Today, you will enjoy a Segway tour through the Trastevere district. The tour will depart from Piazza del Ges□ where you will receive a training session in order for you to learn how to use a Segway properly. After the overview, it will be easier to take to the little streets and hills like Gianicolo and Piazzale Garibaldi.
You will pass through the narrow streets which outline the ancient buildings and squares and allow your eyes to glimpse at an artistic, warm, and dreamy Rome. Whiz across streets decorated by traditional restaurants, artisan shops, and fountains, on a path submerged by scents and colors from every street vendors' stalls.
Standing tall in the midst of this labyrinth of alleys are monuments such as Villa Farnesina, Palazzo Corsini and most significantly - the church of Santa Maria in Trastevere which you can visit inside as well. To top it all off, you will take a quick rest at the most romantic fountain of Rome, l'Acqua Paola, before going up to the best and most panoramic viewpoint from the Gianicolo (a more than easy climb by Segway) offering a full view over the entire historical center and St. Peter's Basilica and Vatican gardens. Upon your return, you will take a nice, pleasant path across the Isola Tiberina, the beautiful Ghetto and also the Theater Marcello as the sun starts to set on Rome.行程概要出發地點

Segway is a great way to tour Trastevere. Thanks to Fl□vio and Juliana who are our expert guide, both historically and with the use of the Segway. My friend and I enjoyed the experience. Its like having a private tour.

Dario was our guide and was FANTASTIC! He was very knowledgeable about the history of Rome and really made this the highlight of our trip! There were only two of us plus Dario on our trip, so it was very personalized. We were doing other Rome tours and chose the Trastevere tour to get somewhat our of the mainstream. We took the 4:00 pm tour on a full moon night and it was spectacular! I would HIGHLY recommend it and ask for Dario!

We took the Trastevere tour and had a great time. Our guide, Quentin, was friendly and very knowledgable about the area. I'm glad we did this by Segway because climbing up the hill in the heat would have been exhausting, and we would have missed out on the incredible view of the city. It ended up just being the two of us with our guide, so we were able to stop and go as we pleased. Quentin took us to sights on both sides of the river and even recommended a great restaurant for lunch.
I highly recommend a Segway tour near the beginning of your trip. You can cover a lot of ground easily and figure out what you want to go to again later.
