After receiving a comprehensive overview of your Segway from your expert guide, you’ll be ready to conquer Rome's Villa Borghese park in style! As you glide the short distance from your meeting point to the park, pass the must-see Spanish Steps -- the famous 138-step staircase leading up from Piazza di Spagna.
Villa Borghese, opened in 1903, is the largest public park in Rome. The 148-acre (80-hectare) park features wide, shady lanes lined by temples, beautiful fountains, statues and museums -- perfect for cruising along on a Segway. Zoom down picturesque paths, away from car traffic, and weave between the lush trees and dazzling fountains.
Pass the Canonica Museum, named after Pietro Canonica, the Italian painter, opera composer, professor and sculptor. Your guide will tell you about his famous books, drawings and sculptures. Continue to the Temple of Diana and admire the goddess statue with one of her hunting dogs.
Continue further into the park to see the magnificent Piazza di Siena -- one of the park’s architectural and environmental jewels. From here, your guide will navigate you through the Lake Gardens, which was added by the English designer Jacob Moore after a major expansion and restoration project in the park.
Explore the newly renovated tree-lined walkways complete with new lawns and flowerbeds, a landscape of trees, shrubs and herbaceous borders. Admire the mirror of the lake’s water before reaching the Valadier House. Continue to the stunning Water Watch Fountain and make your way finally to Canonica Avenue, where your tour will end.行程概要出發地點

This was a fantastic tour-We had never been on Segways before-Ali was a great tutor.
We saw some of the main sights of Rome too and so were dodging past pedestrians!
Ali was an approachable and funny character-he made this tour an awful lot of fun! Thank you so much for a truly wonderful day!!

Awful experience. Several crashes and falls. There were too many people in the group. Dangerous in the streets of Rome. We received a refund after complaining to Viator.

Great fun and saw lots of the park. Perhaps the tour should be called Borghese gardens not Villa Borghese as you don't go in the villa. However this seemed pretty clear after reading the details so not a major concern. Wouldn't recommend it for someone with bad knees. It requires quite a bit of strength.

It is hard to rate this, as it is nothing like it is advertised, basically you turn up if you can stand you can ride a Segway, your safety instructions are don't fall off, the guide does not speak English.
so if you want to muck about on a Segway for three hours this is worth every penny, but if you are looking for a informative safe experience then look else where. -
First time on a Segway and we had excellent instruction on how to ride. It was a great way to see all of the Borghese beautiful gardens.

Totally enjoyed my first segway experience. It was a ton of fun. There were only three people in our group. There was not much information given from the guide. She was very nice and looked after us really well. However, she did not give us the impression that she was a professional guide. Didn't even introduce herself. Would definitely recommend the segway tour but make sure it is conducted by a qualified guide.

We did this segway tour our last day in Rome - wow! We had so much fun. Our guide was excellent and took us around all of Villa Borghese. What a great way to end our Italy vacation.

The segways were a lot of fun, but it was hardly a tour. The guide taught us very little, so we would have been much better off renting segways within the park for 1/4 the price.
