Meet your knowledgeable guide in the morning near Piazza Venezia. After listening to a comprehensive safety briefing, strap on your helmet, hop on your bike and set off on your 9-mile (14.5-kilometer) route.
Pedal by the Roman Forum, the ancient center of the Roman Empire, and see the Colosseum, the monumental stadium where gladiators fought to the death. Cruise by the fabled Trevi Fountain, where visitors toss in coins to ensure their return to Rome, and pass through the Jewish Ghetto, home to one of the world’s longest continuously inhabited Jewish communities.
Stop for frequent breaks to taste Rome’s culinary delights and to take photos. During these breaks, listen to your guide reveal more about the historical city. Pay a visit to a traditional artisan bakery, where you’ll eat a real Italian breakfast, consisting of an espresso and a croissant.
Then, make a stop at a famous bakery to sample the delights of crunchy Roman pizza. Toward the end of the tour, visit a gelateria (Italian ice cream shop). As you savor the delicious artisan gelato, discover more about its ancient origins and its importance in Italian culture.

cannot rate the tour, as we missed our meeting time. I suggest if you are at the cruise port that you do not schedule your tour prior to 11 am. our ship ported at 8:00 am, and we just caught the 8:59 train into rome. we did not get to rome until 10:20, and it also took another 20 minutes to get to initial meeting place. Allow yourself about 3 hours. train from time of boarding take approx 1 hour and 20 minutes. takes about 35-40 minutes to get to train station from cruise port. and another 20 mintutes from rome station to get to pallazzo venizia. so. if you are on a cruise, suggest you do not schedule this tour before 11am.

Fabio was a wonderful guide -- we learned so much from him, and saw so much on our tour of Rome. Helmets were provided, and he made sure we were all safe, giving us very specific guidance for what to look out for. The food was also awesome. We were really glad we signed up for this!

A great, fun tour. Mat was great , he was very knowledgeable about Rome and its history and careful in guiding us through the traffic, especially as we had 4 children in the group. While I enjoyed the cycling I was disappointed in the food aspect. I was expecting to be shown more of the best foods in Rome , but it was really just 3 snacks of expresso and a very small cake, some ordinary pizza and a small gelati. I don't think the explanation of this tour is clear as the food and the title is misleading. But if you don't care about foodies a focus it was a good tour

A great tour to orientate yourself to a very busy city, the guide was very knowledgable and helpful. A real immersion into Rome traffic made it feel dry real, rather than sitting on a tour bus. Highly recommend.

A really fun way to see some of the key sites and get a feel for this fabulous city. Great tour guide, Mattio, he was knowledgeable and charismatic and made it really fun. Food stops were excellent too. Would highly recommend.

It was a very nice trip in a small group. The guide was good and he knew how to get by a lot of people when it was crowded. The only thing we had a little problem with was to find the pick-up place when we used the descripsion we got by mail.

WONDERFUL experience. Everyone at the office was extremely pleasant, kind, and accommodating. The headphones we had on the bike tour worked great and the tour guide was very easy to understand - perfect English. Overall amazing tour and would recommend to anyone.

Best tour in Rome, we four of us had the tour and guide Matt all to ourselves! Matt was a great, he took time to show us all the main attractions and explained, without too much detail, the history behind them. He made sure that we were all safe on the busy roads. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone able to ride a bike.
