Built in the first century, the stadium hosted Gladiators fights, horse races and other athletic contests. You’ll be granted with a free entry to the “Gladiators and sports agony: Weapons and armors of the Roman Empire” Expo, with more than 300 objects on display.
Later we will take you to Theater Marcello and the former Forum Holitorium, one of the biggest ancient Roman market places. Explore Forum Boarium, the place where the first gladiatorial fights took place. And finally, enter Cirucus Maximus, the biggest chariot racing stadium that hosted 150.000 spectators.
