The suburbs of the eternal city are colored by thousands of graffiti, murals. Ostiense District is one of the first areas in which this kind of art is spreading. Redeveloping areas of the city often waiting for adequate conversion after an industrial past are the perfect spots.
From "Gasometro" to "Mercati Generali", the industrial archeology of the area is filled with street art.
Agostino Iacurci, Alice Pasquini and Herbert Baglione among others are the authors of these works, we often find evidence of illegal street art - posters, stencils, stickers, knit art - that sometimes are small masterpieces full of meaning.
