This is due to the Papal Audience during which access to St. Peter's Basilica could be closed. While this ticket is a Skip the Line entrance, there is a security check that every passenger must go through. We cannot control the delay this might cause to entering the museum. This was an easy service, though ours was unguided the guide did give us some good tips before we went into the museum. It was somewhat difficult to find the meeting place, it's not exactly in the piazza that they say it is, more towards the vatican near a little church.

Excellent tour! Alexandra is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour and really gave us a great tour. The 3 hours were over in a flash! The place is super busy but actually totally fine, just go along and enjoy the ride and absolutely do not forget your camera! We managed to pack in the amazing tapestry and map corridors and other beautiful areas on the way to the sistine chapel. You get 15 minutes in the sistine which doesnt sound like much but was actually perfect. Then a bit more in st Peters basilica, it ended dead on time. You can get an extended tour which is 1.5 hours longer but I didnt have time, would have jumped at the chance otherwise. Plenty more to go back and see and will book city wonders again.

We had no trouble finding the meeting point, where the City of Wonders representative was already waiting. We were given tickets and a map of the Vatican, which also had information about the Sistine Chapel paintings. We were expedited past the waiting crowds and promptly entered the Vatican where we could explore at our own pace.

Excellent tour. Eddy was very knowledgeable and fun. The only thing I would have changed was to make this a whole day tour with so much to see. Missed the staircase. All said I learnt and saw so much. Would do it again.

We decided we wanted to do the tour at our own pace. The skip the line ticket was just right. I only wish we had received a map so we knew what we were looking at

The meeting place for this visit is slightly confusing to find. We saw the promised blue jackets of the tour operators but it was the wrong place. Not a problem, the charming guide telephoned to the leader of our tour and arranged that he would pick us up as we were closer to the Museum anyway. He sluiced us through in no time, and by 8.10 we were in the Sistine Chapel along with just a handful of others. We had plenty of time to admire the frescoes in almost privacy. We then went along for a much needed coffee - we had had to skip breakfast in order to be on time. Same experience there, we were the only people in the cafe, but when we left, the queue for self-service was very long. Then to the painting galleries where the crowds were bigger but bearable (it seems groups don't do the pinacoteca). Then to the sculpture galleries which were so full that it was extremely difficult and we left fairly quickly. Go early, or do one of the wonderful evening visits (summer only and this was November)

We had to que , the tour guard didn't seem to know what she was doing. Said it was her first doing the Vatican, I had a small baby in a push chair she didn't tell us where to keep it. The whole thing was very disappointing, I wouldn't book with you again or recommend to my friends and family.

This was not the best experience. Out reservation had not been recorded despite having to emails proving we had paid. Staff sorted this out quickly as thankfully I had copied of the voucher with me. However communication from the team was poor. It took over an hour to enter the Vatican Museums and little was said to us as we waited - it felt like being corralled by cattle. Of particular concern was the children in our party were taken away to get their tickets separately from the adults. There was no warning of this and caused understandable concern amongst the parents present. Better communication would have made this a much better experience.

A must if you are visiting!!! Skip the Line was an excellent choice and well worth the little bit it cost. The Vatican Museum is a must when in Rome!!
