As we booked several tours with Viator and this is the only one they have asked me to review, I assume they already know there was a horrible mix up with our pickup time. We are no spring chickens and traveled with my elderly mother-in-law so timing is everything. The email said that Romaetravel would pick us up at 7am so we knew we would have to be first off the ship carrying our luggage. Hubby got me to the disembarking area with our luggage by 6.30am and went back to help his Mum with her bags. we were out and waiting for our car by 6.55am phew! Long story short hubby started calling Romaetravel at 7.15am as no car had arrived, finally reached someone after several calls and were told our car would be there at 8am, he was very annoyed, especially when the lady said she would call the driver and call us back, which never happened! 7.45am he called several times for a status update but no one would answer the phone. By 8.10am he is furious as you can image. We have been standing (there are no seating areas) outside the cruise terminal for over an hour with his elderly mother who is very tired. just after 8.15am the driver bounced up with our sign apologising for the lateness (he thought he was 15 mins late but according to our paperwork he was 1hr 15 mins late). One look at hubbys face and the poor guy knew something was wrong. I explained and he took a photo of my email that said 7am and sent it to his company. The young man was lovely, it was not his fault, and the ride to the airport went very smoothly and quickly, albeit silently!

The driver was there waiting on us, and he picked us up in a new Mercedes van. We arrived to the airport with plenty of time to spare.

Celebrity Cruises doesntandle disembarkation well. Exit ship to throng of people and dozens of drivers, none of which were ours. Parked luggage and spent next 45 minutes looking for driver who arrived about 30 minutes late. Once loaded, the trip to the airport was fast and although we advised departing airline we were dropped off at the wrong end of the terminal. Beats taking a bus though. Would repeat.

Perfect way to exit the ship and avoid the crowds. Driver texted the evening before the transfer to confirm the pick up......nice touch. We arrived to the Fiumicino Airport in about 60 minutes...we beat the crowds coming off the ship. Very pleased with this company and the option for a private pick up.

Perfect. They picked us up at 7:00 am on time at our cruise port, and made it to the airport with plenty of time to spare. Easy way to end our trip!

He was on time and a nice clean new transport!

Driver was waiting for us at the cruise ship port. Van was very comfortable. We hit all of the main sites and he was very helpful with my mother who has mobility issues.
Would use again.
