Once you land at Rome Fiumicino Airport, head outside the terminal to meet your driver and travel to your Rome hotel. Whether you're traveling individually, with a partner or in a group, your ground transport needs are covered with this shared transfer service.
When making a booking, you will need to advise your flight details and your hotel accommodation details. Your transfer will be confirmed instantaneously and you will be provided a travel voucher to present to the driver. Approximately 24 hours prior to your arrival in Rome, you will be required to reconfirm exact pickup time and place (contact info will be provided on your confirmation voucher).
Price is per person, based on eight adults per car/vehicle.

Our flight was an hour late and the van had left. I understand this but the supervisor at the COTAV desk did not clearly explain that the next van would automatically pick us up. Her assistant was very helpful though. The ride from the hotel to the airport was fine.

After landing slightly earlier than was scheduled, we made our way to the desk and were told to stand somewhere near them and we will get called in up to an hour. We were a little annoyed as we only had 3 nights in the city so wanted to get there but we accepted this and went to wait. An hour came and went, we asked the lady how long it would be as we had been waiting an hour and she said 'the driver is 2 minutes away' so we went back to our standing waiting area. Another 30 minutes went by and still no transfer - we had seen so many people come and go so we went and asked again, we were told the driver cant find a parking space and will be with us soon. So overall we got into the transfer around 1 hour 40 minutes after getting to the desk. In the end we had a private transfer in a mini bus, i am unsure if this is because we had been waiting so long but we were disappointed as this had taken so long out of our short stay so i would not recommend.

It was hard to find the meeting place at first but I am glad I picked this company. Our flight was delayed but they still waited for us.

Booked shared arrival transfer for five adults. The van accommodates 8 passengers. We waited one hour for the other passengers to arrive. To our dismay, this was a group of 4....so not enough room in the van! We were told that 2 people had to get off. This should have been better organized.

No issues with the booking itself. Our issues were with the driver. He had the incorrect address of the hotel. He screamed and swore at us in Italian. He was both rude and condescending, and blamed us for not knowing where our hotel was! We felt threatened and intimidated. He literally threw us and our luggage out of the van when he finally located the hotel. Viator should better screen who it does business with locally.

Do yourself a favor and just take a cab or private transfer. The cab is a fixed rate of 48. This cost us 40 for the two of us. We had to wait over a half hour before everyone else from the group was there for the transfer. Then we had to wait for everyone to get dropped off at each hotel. Thankfully, we were the second drop off. After a long day of travelling the last thing you want to do is wait around an airport any longer or spend more time in a car. Unless you have a big group that can fill the van, this isn't worth it.

If you want to get out of the airport fast, do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a private transfer. We waited an hour and a half for the other members of the group before we even left the airport. Thankfully we were the first stop so we didnt miss our other tour bookings but it was cutting it very close. Then again thats our own fault for trying to save a little money. Nothing was wrong with the transportation itself but if youre looking for efficiency spend the money on a private transfer.

A must use if you are not traveling with a group tour. Always prompt and upscale when I have used these services.

A bit hard to find where we were picking up,our driver but we figured it out and got to our hotel ok.
