Depart from your central Naples hotel in the morning for a private day trip to the Amalfi coast in a classic Italian Fiat 600. Cruise along the southern side of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula as your guide winds you around the extraordinary curves of this coast full of UNESCO World Heritage sites. Dress the part in comfortable clothes and with a pair of shades ─ just don’t lose your fedora as you capture memories of a one of a kind coastline.
Stop in Sorrento, a charming town famous for limoncello and views of the Bay of Naples, where it is said that the Roman emperor Caligula built a bridge of boats across the bay and rode across in a chariot. In the distance, see the island of Capri and Mt Vesuvius.
Then, venture with your guide to Positano, a former fishing village that acted as a port of the Amalfi Republic in medieval times. Now it’s full of dazzling restuarants and cliffside hotels. Break here for walk and marvel at the steeply stacked houses cascading down to the ocean.
Enjoy a stop for cake and coffee an hour into the tour and then continue to the town of Amalfi, the former trading power in the Mediterranean in the 9th and 10th centuries.
In the afternoon, grab a traditional Italian meal at a local restaurant in Pogerola (own expense). Then, head to the heavenly town of Ravello and perch yourself high atop the UNESCO World Heritage site to capture stunning views overlooking gardens and Amalfi.
Finally visit the famous Emerald Grotto (own expense), a network of emerald caves located in Cape Conca, where the water’s other-worldly colors are determined by the unique lighting conditions in each particular cave.
When the time comes, relax on your journey back to Naples, where your day trip concludes with a drop-off at your hotel.行程概要出發地點

Car was super cute and very vintage. Our driver was awesome and took us on a nice tour of the coast. He stopped and took pictures when we wanted. He also provided us great info about Italy. Not alot of space in the car, but it was expected in a vintage Fiat. A great idea my husband had to book this excursion. They picked us up at our hotel in Naples and drove us to Sorrento, where we were met with the vintage Fiat. They also take you back from Sorrento to Naples. Fun!!!!

Our Guide was excellent. The car is very tiny like we thought but a lot of funny driving in it through the curves and hills of the Amalfi Coast.
