This tour will take you to three areas of the city. The driver will first drive along the seaside passing onto lungomare Caracciolo and Mergellina and up to Posillipo’s hill from which you can take a snapshot of the most popular view of the city embracing the whole bay, Capri Island and Mt. Vesuvius. Driving back to the center you will be able to see the ancient Castel dell’Ovo, the oldest standing stronghold in town (12th century) embedded in an old fishermen village (Borgo Marinari). Second, you will be taken to the monumental area for a stroll on your own. This neighborhood counts a number of outstanding buildings placed side by side, such as: Maschio Angioino castle (1279); Real San Carlo theatre, the world's oldest working opera house (1737); Royal Palace (1644); Plebiscito Square, the largest in town and named after the vote that in 1860 declared the unification of the Kingdom of Italy; Galleria Umberto, a shopping mall from 1887; the neoclassic church of San Francesco di Paola from 1820 inspired by the Pantheon in Rome. Back to the vehicle, you will be heading to the historical center “Naples splitter” (Spaccanapoli), the ancient Greek urban structure and heart of the city, where you can enjoy your pizza dinner.
This tour will be handled by an English speaking expert driver who will point you the main monuments disclosing along the way. Other languages, beside Italian, are available on request.行程概要出發地點

We were the only 2 people on the tour and the driver did a good job of showing us a lot of the city. The only downside was the Pizza dinner. We were expecting dinner to be in an old restaurant in the heart of the city. What we got was a glass and steel building that looked brand new in what appeared to be in a industrial part of town. No, the pizza was not good.

Worst tour ever!

This was a very disappointing tour. We were picked up by a very nice gentleman who unfortunately spoke very little English. We traveled in a van with tinted windows. Think of that for a moment we were supposed to see the night lights of Naples and all we saw was the night. When we got to the pizza restaurant rather charming, we found out that the driver was not allowed to sit with us. We lost a great opportunity to finally ask him questions in a quiet, face-to-face environment rather than looking at the back of his head, trying to understand him over the roar of the engine and the noise of the heavy traffic. So far, two very bad decisions on the part of the tour supplier and by extension Viator. As a result of this experience, I do not recommend it. It is a very costly way of having a pizza.

The driver spoke zero English. Barking out road or building name without any description and zero understanding of any question. Complete waste of time! We stopped at a poor spot on the hill with half the view blocked by a wall instead of much better spots on the way.

The tour was fantastic. Our guide showed us some spectacular views of night-time Naples, including a castle and a church near the Bay of Naples, and we had a great pizza meal near one of the historic monuments in a famouschurch piazza in the heart of Naples.

This was a nice way to see the city of Naples, which looks a lot cleaner and more tranquil at night than it does during the day. Raul picked us up at our hotel and, while he spoke little to no English, we were able to string together conversations. He drove well, offered to take pictures, and made sure to point out the sites as we passed them. He also gave us some free time to wander the pier before bringing us to dinner at Filume Bistrot Napoletano. Dinner includes bruschetta and fried dough to start, a margherita pizza each, and a bottle of water. We chose to order a bottle of wine and just paid the difference. The food was surprisingly good for being organized through a tour company. Afterwards, Raul delivered us back to our hotel. There was a mix-up between him and the tour company, and he tried to collect the remaining tour fee, after we insisted we had already paid in full. Luckily our hotel's front desk was able to serve as interpreter and it was eventually sorted out. Raul could not have been more apologetic, but it was still a sour note to end the evening on.

Highly recommended tour with a very passionate driver/guide named Giovanni. We saw close to EVERYTHING in Naples with lots of information in excellent English. Best way to get an overview of the whole city and wow, the best ever pizza, with a very tasty entree all included in the Price!

Don't take this tour, only 4 of us and the three others had very little english, so dinner was very embarrassing.
Tour started at 6.30pm so not night tour! Still daylight.
Mini Van so not luxury coach.
Ask how many on the tour first.
Very overpriced.
