Stop At: Pompeii - Archaeological Area., Pompeii, Province of Naples, Campania
On a fateful summer's day in 79 A.D., Mt. Vesuvius erupted, spewing volcanic ash over the prosperous city of Pompeii. Unaware of the imminent danger, most people continued on with their daily lives and as a result the entire town and around 20,000 of its inhabitants were buried under tons of ash and pumice.
Almost 2,000 years later, you have the opportunity to explore the site of this famous disaster and see first-hand the houses, streets and public buildings miraculously preserved by the volcanic ash.
Accompanied by your guide, you'll see such fascinating places such as the Forum, Thermal Baths and Lupanare brothel.

Our trip to Pompeii was extremely enjoyable, with many thanks to our guide Maria who was very knowledgeable - consequently we were able to learn a lot about the history of Pompeii - this is definitely a not-to-be-missed opportunity to visit one of the most historic sites in the world!

Tour guide was great and informative, got to see so many interesting sights. Tour was about 2 hours long which was great for us as we didn't want to be out in the heat for too long. Bus picked us up at the port and dropped us back after the tour was over. Highly recommend!

Pompeii is probably the most incredible site I've ever visited. My wife and I went on this excursion during our honeymoon cruise from the Naples port. The bus picked us up right at the port, which made things very convenient. The bus then drives through Naples and makes other stops at hotels to pick up other patrons, and then heads south to Pompeii; this took roughly 45-60 minutes. The guides were helpful and knowledgable.
If you are at all a history or archaeology buff, you have to visit Pompeii. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Tour guide was informative with a great sense of humor. Bus ride there allowed a view of city. Attraction was crowded but we moved around at a good pace.

Loved it. They picked us up/dropped off pretty close to our Airbnb. Because they pick up, you spend a little more time in the van than I anticipated but it was really comfortable. When we arrived in Pompeii, the tour guide was wonderful, knowledgeable and funny. Definitely recommend.

Good tour with an interesting and knowledgable guide. One of many large tour groups which made it quite crowded at times. It should be noted this tour is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues

trip was as advertised. was picked up at cruise terminal and transported to Pompeii and back. guide was good.
trip was advertised as 3 hours but actually took closer to 5 hours.
spent alot of time picking up peoples from various locations in Naples and then had a significant amount of non-tour time at Pompeii.
