Meet your guide in Piazza Plebiscito for your morning or afternoon walking tour of Naples. Start with a walk across the handsome square to the Royal Palace of Naples and Basilica of St Francesco di Paola.
View the exterior of Teatro di San Carlo, the oldest opera house in Italy with a history that dates back to the 18th century, and then cross the street to wander through the Galleria Umberto I shopping gallery.
Visit St James's Palace (the town hall) and head to Piazza Municipio to see Castel Nuovo, an elegant landmark that’s also known as Maschio Angioino. The medieval castle is a major symbol of the architecture in Naples, and has been expanded several times since its construction in the 13th century.
Continue through the historic center of Naples, full of churches, cloisters, palaces and monuments. Listen to your guide’s commentary and learn about the area’s many historical, artistic, cultural and architectural treasures, and then wander to Piazza del Gesu to see the Monastery of St Chiara and Church of Jesus.
Next, follow your guide along the colorful Spaccanapoli promenade. Literally meaning ‘Naples splitter,’ this straight and narrow main street traverses Naples’ historic center, and is one of the three east-west streets of the original Greco-Roman city of Neapolis.

Had someone showed up to guide the 10 am tour this would have been rated excellent. After we finally contacted the tour operator, with the help of another guide, we were told of a problem caused by a strike.(the square was filled with other groups with tour guides) We was invited to join the afternoon tour, which we accepted. Turns out we were the only 2 people on the tour! The guide,Sonia, was outstanding, friendly, knowledgeable and interesting. The cake - not so good.

Anna was fantastic. We learned a lot about Naples, its history and place in Italy. She answered our questions and had a great sense of humor.

Anna was simply amazing, she was full of energy and joy which really made our day. She was really helpful, funny and knowledgable.

This was a great tour!! We were not the biggest fans of Napoli, but Anna was so much fun, and loved her city so much, she really brought it to life for us! We were only in the city for the afternoon, but Anna helped us to know where to go and what to do the next time we are in Napoli!

There was two of us only in the tour which was very beneficial to us. However, we did not find the info so interesting.It could be us not finding Naples interesting.
