When booking this tour, I thought I was booking a FERRY! When we arrived at the ferry we were directed to a small motor boat down a slippery bank. When I stated this was not what I booked, I was very rudely told take it or leave it. As my 3 friends and I are in our 70's and 80's and not that steady on small boats, we had to leave it. So we stood in line and got tickets for the local ferry for a fraction of the cost, and had an enjoyable day visiting the islands!
However I lost my money!
Beware- this is NOT a FERRY! -
There was chaos in the port, real turism magnet place. Too many operators and too little information. Islands are nice and tour was ok.

It was a great experience to view the islands via ferry. The ferry is very convenient and on time. There were no delays and ample time was also given to us to experience the islands at our own leisure

It was an outstanding day out on Lago Maggiore. Highly recommend this to anyone who is still thinking to absolutely book and GO !!! Thank you Viator !
