    This was a great tour of Lecce, and I would highly recommend it! Our cruise ship was scheduled to dock in Brindisi, but I had read so much about the ruins in Lecce that we decided to arrange for this bike tour of that area. Lecce has many a remarkable history that rivals Florence, just on a smaller scale. Lecce is about a 40 minute cab ride from Brindisi. Sara, who was our guide, showed us all the important ruins in the city. She even took us to taste wine at this darling store called Libberima. It was a fun way to see Lecce! Additionally, I somehow dropped my wallet when I paid the cab driver who had taken us from Lecce to Brindisi. The cab driver took my wallet to the police in Lecce, who in turn contacted the woman at the wine shop that let the woman who owned the bike touring company that they had my wallet. She tracked me down by phone ,and the police in Lecce are mailing the wallet to me in Utah. It still has the credit cards and money in it! Lecce will always hold a special place in my heart. The sites were fantastic and the people were amazing.
