We got off the fast train one stop too soon because it said Venice. Had to purchase a ticket to the next stop. The 7:00 train back to Florence was 45 minutes late and we missed the last train back to Montecatini and had to hire a taxi for $100.

The tour guide was very helpful. She made sure we understood everything before sending us on our way.

We took a day trip to Venice, and the best way was by high speed train. However, beware that Venice is very crowded during the hours we were there 0900 until 1900. The train was 2.5 hours late, which was very disappointing because we could have spent more time exploring the city. Overall, I would recommend this trip.

It really is a self directed tour. Well organized with the guide at the train station. We went on the labour day, and Venice itself was more crowded than usual. I loved St Mark's... we paid extra to see the museum, which I felt was worth it... If you have any interest in religious history, you will want to do it for 5 euros.

This was a very convenient way to take a day trip to Venice from Florence. We may have been able to figure it out ourselves, but it was very nice to meet someone at the train station to get our tickets, directions, and vaporetto tickets, especially since it was our first time traveling to Venice. After our meeting, we were on our own for a fun adventure!

Well organised getting you on the train, certainly worth trying, very easy the other end as you are left to get on with it. I would definitely recommend the tour. We have done alot of trips through this company and always have been well organised.

Wonderful, someone meet you at the train station to give you, your vouchers and provided you with a water taxi time schedule. Only thing missing was a map of Venice .

While getting a package to do something is attractive, the operator of this package was disorganized. They didn't have maps of Venice for us and they showed up late. The location for meeting was difficult to figure out because the way it was listed was not what any sign in the train station said. If I had it to do over again I would just buy the train ticket and the transit pass for Venice myself and save the hassle.

1 star, buy your own train ticket. Took to 30 mins to find the person with our tickets. They should be more specific on the meeting place. Venice is very small, once you get there you will be able to walk around venice and get water taxi.
