You will be guided away from the annoying crowds in order to experience the most famous Renaissance gardens of Florence.Located just at 10 minutes walking distance from Ponte Vecchio, you will find the gorgeous Bardini Garden, an alternative place to get lost with one of the most spectacular views of the city. No tourists, no crowds. You could probably spend all day wandering around this park and exploring everything it has to offer. Statues and fountains are scattered around the park, and the breathtaking view from the top is the same you would have from the overcrowded Piazzale Michelangelo nearby.
Walking inside the Bardini Garden you will be able to climb to the top of the hill, and you will reach the magnificent Forte Belvedere. This unique fortress is located on the highest hill of the Boboli Gardens, at the most strategic point, with stunning overlook over the entire city of Florence and all its surrounding region. Well worth the stroll up the hill, Forte Belvedere is powerful like its history, and no place on earth can be like this. There is also a nice bar with comfortable sofas where you can relax while enjoying the pace of the place. From Forte Belvedere you will be guided to one of the most spectacular gardens of the world: Boboli Gardens.
In this easy walk, you will jump into the beauty of a wonderful dream-world, the most fascinating and ancient park of Florence. One of the foremost examples of an Italian-style garden, the Boboli is really an open-air museum, not only for its architecture and landscaping, but also because of the many sculptural ornaments it contains. Walking down the hill, at the end you will be guided to the main door of Pitti Palace, and you will find yourself back to the centre of Florence.
