You'll begin with a guided visit of Piazza dei Miracoli followed by the highly iconic Leaning Tower of Pisa (exterior). Pass the Baptistery (exterior visit) and other important monuments and venture into the historic Cathedral (exterior visit)
Continue on your guided walk to Piazza dei Cavalieri, in search of Scuola Normale, one of the most famous universities in the world. Founded by Napoleon in 1810, it has been educating students and carrying out research for nearly two centuries.
During the walking tour it will also be possible to purchase the admission ticket to the Baptistery (to be paid on site directly from your guide), which include also a priority access inside the wonderful Cathedral!

This was a very good tour. The driver loved to share details of his region and the guide was incredible knowledgeable. I would give it five stars but the weather was terrible obviously not the tour's fault Highly recommend.

I would definitely recommend a private tour of Pisa. It's the best way to see Pisa and to make the most of your day. Plus it's educational. A must see is the voice demonstration in the babtistry. Our guide was a little soft spoken and I was straining to hear her, but she gave great infirmation!

It was well worth the additional money to have a private car bring us to Pisa and a private tour guide. The two of us were able to take with the driver, ask questions and learn interesting facts about Florence, Pisa and Italy as we rode from Florence to Pisa. The tour guide in Pisa was exceptional; she had extensive knowledge of the city and the history and encouraged my 11 year old nephew to ask questions and answered them at a level that he could comprehend. This trip was a highlight of his trip.

Our driving was great and he defiantly had some interesting facts about Florence, our tour guide at the leaning tower did know a lot however she wasn't very engaging and it felt like she was just reading a book to us so it was a little boring.

Some many people told me there was nothing to see in Pisa apart from a leaning tower how're ever I think the value in experiencing Pisa comes down to having a knowledgeable and friendly guide to explain all the history behind the tour, the baptistery and Duomo. I was fortunate to have this on my trip and my guide was fantastic. The trip is a great way to spend an afternoon to see the tour and understand the origins of Pisa while enjoying the comforts of a private journey to and from your hotel.
