An enjoyable day lunch was too early before the tour , the guide was very helpful as I was not confident on the Segway so was offered a bicycle which was very good so that I could still take the tour.

Fabulous way to see the city and learn all about it

The Segway tour was a lot of fun. It took about 5 minutes to learn how to ride one. The first couple minutes was herky jerky for me but with Gabriele's guidance I soon felt comfortable on it. Then we were off, using many roads that were not used by vehicles. Weaving around people was very easy. At each stop, I was able to use the kickstand and get off the Segway to take pictures. Gabriele, from FloRent, was excellent in making sure my wife and I felt comfortable following him and he was very cautious whenever we had to merge with traffic or pass thru a lot of people. This tour included a lunch, and he showed us the restaurant so that we could walk to it after the tour because we had to drop the Segway's off at the shop when finished. This worked out well because we were able to shop and relax a little before lunch. The lunch was standard pasta and wine. I would say in hindsight that taking a longer Segway tour without lunch would be better. But I highly recommend taking the Viator Segway tour and hopefully you get Gabriele from FloRent as your guide.

Fun way to give your feet a break and see the city.

We had so much fun on this tour! It had been raining quite heavily that morning and we were given ponchos and helmets and off we went. The Segways can be a little tricky to get on, but once you are on, they are so much fun. Our 15-year-old daughter and her friend were with us and they loved it. A great way to get around Florence. Our guide was wonderful and so friendly. I would definitely take this tour again. Thank you!

Our tour was over at about 11am and lunch was not offered. The guide was very knowledgeable but was close to impossible to hear.
