Among the other Florence bike tours, this one will let you enter the Accademia Gallery museum with a fast-track ticket and discover the original Michelangelo's masterpiece that has become the symbol of Renaissance splendour. The David.
Admire it from every perspective, gaze in awe at David, that dominates the central gallery of the museum.
The David was sculpted by a very young Michelangelo (in his twenties) entirely from a single block of local Carrara marble and it's 5.17 metres tall (17 ft). It represents the biblical hero David that killed Goliath and when it was unveiled, in 1504, it soon came to symbolize the defense of the civil liberties embodied in the Florentine Republic.
Admire also Michelangelo's famously unfinished sculptures - Prigioni and San Matteo.

Florence Bike Tour (2.5 hours)
Make your own way to the start point in central Florence, put on your helmet and pedal behind your guide as you explore the city while learning about its top attractions. Plenty of photo stops are factored in to your 2.5-hour route.
Pass the Church of Santa Maria Novella and Florence Duomo ─ topped by the terracotta-colored Brunelleschi’s Dome ─ and cycle through Piazza della Repubblica and Piazza della Signoria, two of Florence’s bustling central squares. Admire the front of the Uffizi Gallery while hearing about the treasure trove of Renaissance art inside its walls, and work your way to the Ponte Vecchio, a medieval bridge and one of the city’s standout sights.
Pedal along the Ponte Vecchio, and gaze out over the River Arno as you head toward the Oltrarno neighborhood, home to many of the city’s artisans and quirky sights. Pass the Pitti Palace (Palazzo Pitti), from where the powerful Medici family ruled between the 16th and 20th centuries. Use your visit to the area to stop for a coffee or gelato, and then head back over the river to the start point where your tour finishes.
Skip the Line: Florence Accademia Gallery Tour (1.5 hours)
The Accademia Gallery in Florence is home to some of the finest works of Renaissance artwork in the world, so lines to enter are often long. Skip past them with your fast-track entrance ticket, and admire the wealth of artwork with your guide.
Works by the Renaissance supremo Michelangelo are given pride of place inside the gallery, so your guide’s commentary focuses on the beloved Florentine artist. Admire the unfinished sculptures of Prigioni and San Matteo, and then gaze in awe at the iconic statue of David in the central gallery ─ sculpted by a fresh-faced Michelangelo when he was just in his twenties.
After admiring David, visit more rooms with your guide to learn about other Renaissance artists such as Sandro Botticelli and Filippino Lippi. When your tour finishes, you can stay inside the museum for as long as you wish, to discover artwork from the Middle Ages as well as the Renaissance.飯店接送

Should the weather get better during the tour, we will try to get back on board, when possible. Guest options on rainy days: Proceed with the tour hoping for clearing weather - with the understanding that no refund or discount will be given if bikes are not ridden due to rain, or if the bike tour is abbreviated due to rain. We will do our best to get you on a bike, weather permitting. Rain check (of the same amount clients paid) to be used the following day or at any other time, subject to availability. The Rain check is a voucher given to client. The voucher is transferable and may be sold or given to others to use at a future date and lasts up to 1 year from date. Do not even think about a bike tour in Florence. This should be called it a walk your bike tour. Never road the bike for more than 100 yards befor having to stop. Just too many people in Florence. Save your money, take a walking tour. Skip the line Accademia Gallery Tour was very good. Worth it, so you do not have to spend 1/2 day in line

This tour was well worth it. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly. The problem is, you really can't ride a bike in Florence. The streets are too narrow and the crazed motor cycle riders make it very dangerous.

Great tour for whole family. Valentina was a wonderful guide and full of knowledge. Will book more tours via Viator- never disappointed!

The bike tour itself was fun and the entire group passed by some interesting structures and our tour guide gave us several tips for good and reasonable restaurants.
The Accademia tour was disappointing. I felt that I could have learned more from a guide book.
The group wasn't allowed to explore the Gallery.
The gelato given at the end of the tour was a sample--4 bites. -
We love taking bike tours on vacation but this one was a bit of a let down compared with others. Bikes are old school three speeds and one size does not fit all I am 6'1. Cobblestones are bumpy and seats are hard which makes for a sore backside after a while. Guide was nice but the stops were pretty mainstream and riding through the main square was just silly as you end up pushing yourself along like a 2 year old due to the crowds. We like to use bike tours to see more remote parts of a city and were a bit disappointed we didn't get off the path here. Still a decent way to explore.

Highly recommend this tour especially at the beginning of your stay. It's a great way to become oriented to the city. Our tour guide, Valentina was FANTASTIC. Her English was spot on. A huge bonus, my husband and I were the only two on the tour so we had a personal tour!

We're so happy that we booked this tour. Historic Florence is teeming with tourists and walking through the crowds takes so much time. A bike tour makes it so much easier. You get a good overview of area in a much shorter space of time... especially when you have a guide that knows where she's going. Marzia was our guide and she was excellent. When you're visiting such a historical city, it's invaluable having someone who can bring the history to life for you. The same goes for the Academia Gallery. She provided context and we viewed the gallery in a manageable period of time. She was worth her weight in gold. Actually, she was worth more than her weight in gold. She was short. :

Excellent tour guide and beautiful city! It was a little scary riding bikes through streets with traffic and lots of tourists! Fortunately, we had lots of stops and we finished the tour with a delicious gelato!

The roads in Florence are too crowded for a bike tour
The meeting place was poorly marked and difficult to find even with a GPS
The guide was nice Valentia? however, her facts were memorized and delivered like an oral report with no personality.
