Wonderful and insightful tour. We would never have understood or fully appreciated the meaning and importance of many of the works, nor known what to single out on our own, as the collection is vast and overwhelming. Grazie to Maurizio, an excellent professional guide with a nuanced grasp of English. Highly recommend this tour.

My lady friend and I toured the Duomo, Accademia, and Uffizi in the days before we came here. After those two, I did not expect to see much that would overwhelm me. I was wrong!This tour gave us plenty of opportunity to get up close and personal with dozens of magnificent works, in the breathtaking Pitti Palace. After that, we stayed and took photos in the gardens.We had the opportunity to see, in a couple of short hours, the evolution of art from early Renaissance to modern. This gave us new insights about the nature and inspiration of modern art.I do not recommend this for kids under 12 unless they have an interest in art that is far beyond their chronological age.I do recommend this for everyone who has an interest in Florentine art, architecture, or history.

Our guide's knowledge was fantastic, he made the art works come alive, we learnt so much about the Medici's and their chosen artists and art works...I enjoyed this tour more than my amazing tour of the Uffizi ...it is the collection chosen by a family and not a catalogue of art as displayed in the Uffizi ....you will not be disappointed.

Good tour of both with an art historian who pointed out the highlights. Pitt was very crowded that day. we were told it was a bit unusual, but we managed to get through with some interesting commentary. Would recommend this tour.

This tour was not my favorite, not even in the top 5. There are amazing things to do and see in Florence. The Pitti Palace, for us, was a little boring and did not capture our interest or attention.

We were the only two on this tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history and culture of early Florence. The information on the tour provided a fantastic basis for visiting the Palatine Gallery at a more leisurely pace to spend longer soaking in the masterpieces hanging throughout the gallery. Highly recommended.

We went early but there was not a line to skip so the cost of this early tour was unnecessary

This was a fantastic experience. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative. We would highly,highly recommend this tour and this guide. If every guide were as good, traveling would be even more enjoyable. He was the best guide ever!!!
