For the money this was very good value. Coach was very comfortable, excellent driver and guide Eduardo. The two wine tasting stops were brief but informative and the selections offered were well considered and accompanied with small bites which were also well matched.The visit to Montiriggioni itself was rather brief, half hour only, but as there are only 15 inhabitants and a small church a few houses a restaurant and a couple of ice cream /cold drinks vendors not much to see except the magnificent view over the Tuscan hills. Having said that, it is a must to visit to be witness to the fortification under some restoration and the history of this little village. Unfortunately a thunderstorm had put paid to sitting on the square with a drink so it didn't matter too much. Only down side to this visit was the access. The coach cannot reach the portal so a steep walk is necessary which, for fit healthy people is fine, but personally speaking I was out of breath climbing all those steps and would have taken the alternative ramp had I been made aware which probably would of course required a little more time added to the schedule. However, we were very pleased with the afternoon and Eduardo rganised a taxi for us to share with another couple on the same trip, back into the city centre on our return. The excursion point of departure is a good 15-25 minute walk from the city centre - I would recommend this without hesitation.

Very fun and easy outing. Long drive out but very pretty countryside to see. Wine tastings were two stops and fun to do. Not for wine experts more for new wine enthusiasts. Would recommend.

Great tour. Beautiful scenery, great wines and specialty items. The trip to Monteriggioni was nice too. Beautiful country! Our tour good was very friendly, easy going and informative. Overall a great experience. Recommend it!

Although we enjoyed the tour it was advertised as Monteriggioni half day trip with wine tasting. In fact we only got to spend half an hour at the fortress between two wine tastings...just enough time to walk from the coach park, buy an ice cream and walk back.

This half day was so much fun, I definitely recommend for anyone who would like a relaxing day in Tuscany wine country! My family and I had a great time and our tour guide was great. We met a lot of nice people, too!

Most wonderful tour! Our guide, Constantino, was terrific and carefully explained each winery to us. He was fun and thoughtful. Although rainy, our family loved seeing the Tuscan countryside, and our busdriver, Giovanni, stopped in a few spots so that we could take pictures along the route!

This was an amazing tour. Wine was superb, and the countryside was so very relaxing. Was the highlight of all things done in Florence and the region.

Tour was just OK. We didn't think it was amazing but we also did not hate it. 2nd winery tasting did seem rushed and owners were only interested in selling to us vs education. Overall it was fine, but i probably wouldn't recommend it to a friend.

It didn't start out well, We were herded onto a huge packed bus with no leg room, which left late. I was really wishing I hadn't booked the tour. The tour guide did a great job with her commentary in several languages, but i would suggest in future she ask people to be courteous to others and not speak while she speaks, as it made it hard to hear her. However things definitely improved at the wineries. Both were well organised to cater for such large crowds and the speakers at both were funny and informative. The little town we visited was also lovely. Unfortunately we were still running late so had little time there. The bus back was even more uncomfortable as they wouldn't turn on the aircon for some reason, even though they were asked, and it was stifling. The tour wasn't expensive so overall i would say it was value for money, but I don't ever want to get back on one of those buses.
