Meet your guide and the other joggers in Piazza Duomo, home to the elegant Giotto’s Bell Tower and the nearby red-tiled dome of the show-stopping Duomo. Begin with a quick warm-up and stretch, then start jogging through the scenic city's historical center. The pace is moderate, allowing you to take in all the sights and listen to your guide. During the running tour, you’ll take around four brief stops to catch your breath and to soak up the surroundings.Weave through splendid sunbathed squares, including Piazza della Signoria and Piazza della Repubblica, and see the huge Pitti Palace (Palazzo Pitti), the former home of the powerful Medici family. Your tour leader will point out some of the important historical sites you are passing.Reach the ancient city walls and begin the ascent toward the famous Piazzale Michelangelo terrace. Push yourself to reach the top of the hill and you’ll be rewarded with some of the best views in Florence. Not only will you be able to see the River Arno, the tower of the Palazzo Vecchio and the rounded dome of the Duomo, but you’ll also soak up stunning views of the Tuscan hills.After, continue back down into the city center, where your tour concludes at the original start point.行程概要出發地點

Marco met us promptly at 6:45 a.m. and it was a little strange but also fun to be the only 3 people at the Duomo. Marco was happy to accommodate my daughter's and my slow pace 12-13 minute miles and it created many opportunities to stop and hear his stories about Florence and Italian history, landmarks, etc. He pointed out things that we later surprised other tourists by already knowing, including how to turn the public drinking sources into ready-made water fountains. We highly recommend this tour/experience and we wish Marco well in his training for the Warsaw Poland Marathon during Fall 2015 - he is even learning Polish language as part of his preparation! Oh, he also recommended an excellent gelato store. Grazie Marco!

Really enjoyed it. Our running guide was incredibly knowledgeable. I would do it again, no question--one of the best parts of my trip.

We had signed up to do this tour on our first morning, and it was a great decision as Marco ran us round the city telling us loads of stories and pointing out interesting places. He was very knowledgeable and it gave us a really good overview of the city and what to look out for. For us it was so much better than walking or a bus tour, would definitely recommend.
