    產品介紹

    Piazza Duomo (the Cathedral square) is the religious and social heart of the city and has been covered this role for centuries.

    This tour offers you the opportunity to skip the line and discover more about this beautiful historic complex.

    After listening to a general audio recorded commentary in the square, (approx 10 minutes), you will enter the Cathedral with your guide who will show you the wonders of this massive building's interior. During the 30 minute visit, you will have a personal headset to hear your guide clearly.

    Inside the Duomo you can see incredible treasures such as the colossal clock above the main door, which is one of the only liturgical clock showing the 24 hours of the hora italica (Italian time), a period of time ending with sunset. This is one of the few clocks (this timetable was used until the 18th century) that is still working.

    See the tribute to Dante - a painting of the Florentine poet with scenes of the Divine Comedy - and admire the beautiful and renowned 44 stained glass windows created by the greatest Florentine artists of their times, such as Donatello, Ghiberti and Paolo Uccello.

    My husband only choose the train ticket only to Florence. It was fantastic. Our guides were Maurizio and Valentina they were great. They kept us entertained throughout the train process and provided information about Florence. They were very professional and customer service oriented. Love that trip with them.

    The duomo itself was spectacular but the tour guide was not. He had a very thick Italian accent and spoke very softly and refused to speak any louder. He just said to get closer to him. We had devices that had earphones so we can hear him better but most of them didn't work. It was suppose to be a 40 minute tour and it was done after 20 minutes. It was only 10 a person so I guess I got what I paid for. It was worth to skip the line and see the inside. Once inside you can deviate from the group and go in your own.

    Overall we had a good tour, however there is a lot of room for improvement. Firstly, it was really hard to find our guide as they do not wear the yellow shirt nor do they hold up the sign like they specified in the victor voucher. We were not the only ones on our tour who had difficulty with this. The audio system is very old and we found it quiet difficult on occasion to hear our guide through our ear phones. It is also worth noting that this tour does not include entrance to the dome or crypt.

    I was unaware that this did not allow us to go to the catacombs in the Duomo or the top of the Duomo. There was apparently an additional fee for this. We were in a tour where everyone else had the additional tickets except us. And it was not offered to us to get the tickets before we started. It was a very short tour because of this. I was rather disappointed that we didn't get to see the whole Duomo.

    Worth skipping the line but tour not great. I think climbing to the dome would be worth it but we had kids under 16.
