Versailles is definitely a must go for first time visitors, maybe a once in a lifetime visit to check off your bucket list, it is such a beautiful palace and garden to visit, but HUMONGOUS...prepare to walk a lot so wear comfortable shoes. And if you're going there in the summer, make sure you're ready to sweat because there's no AC inside the palace. Our guide, Gabriella I think?, was very informative, she knows her stuff inside and out so if you're into history or art, you'll enjoy this tour. The only thing I would recommend is if there are areas for photos, it'll be nice if the guide can give us some time to stop and take pictures especially if it's an area we cannot go back into we found out that once you're out of the palace, there's no going back inside. Also since both areas are so big, it's a waste of time having to go back and forth. Please also do not bring tripod, you cannot take it inside the palace.

I'd been once before and loved it. Was so excited to bring family members through. Everything about this tour ran late. Too many people were allowed in, I basically looked at a peoples backs as long as I could stand it. Half way through we left our group. It was so crowded we could not enjoy a single thing. Went outside to see the very last of the water shows. Such a disappointment this time. We even went on a Tuesday!

We enjoyed this. I do recommend getting the garden pass. It is more of a heavily treed area with paths and fountains and not so much a garden, but very nice.

Versailles is beautiful and worth a visit. Unfortunately during our visit, our voice transistors which allow you to hear the tour guide stopped working. Overall, a very good tour.

I loved this tour!! Our guide was super knowledgeable and friendly. It is definitely worth to book the extra tour of the gardens!

The tour itself was very informative and we learned a lot from the experience. It felt a little fast and I didn't feel that we got to soak in the details of each room, but there was a lot of ground to cover so it was understandable. We even got a tour of a little bit of the gardens and it's history. The skip the line feature of this tour was amazing, the line looked really REALLY long without it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this tour if you're looking for a brief overview of the Palace, gardens, and the history of the Palace and how it's construction tied into French history.

It was ok but it could be a lot better the tour was very short and brief was expecting more but I did learn the history disappointed that could see Antoinette room because is being remodel....

Our guide was super friendly and spoke great English. It was completely worth the money and I’m very happy we didn’t do it on our own. Listening to the history was just as interesting as seeing it. The tour, employees and content covered were great. You can spend the rest of day roaming gardens.

We arrived early at the local office and were guided to enter the gardens early. Great advice as we had a great day. Tour guide Gabriel was thoughtful and interesting with commentary throughout the palace wired to our small group.
