Meet near Place du Pr□sident Wilson in the afternoon for your private half-day wine tour. Traveling by minivan, travel to the beautiful town of Albi, whose old quarter and cathedral are classified as UNESCO World Heritage sites.Take a walk through Old Town and be wowed by the imposing tower and massive walls of 13th-century Albi Cathedral, formally Cathedral Basilica of St-Cecilia, which was the largest brick structure in the world at the time of its construction. After touring the church, visit the Mus□e Toulouse-Lautrec (Toulouse-Lautrec Museum) to learn about the renowned life and career of famed French artist Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec, who was born in Albi.Enjoy views of the rolling countryside as you make your way to the wine town of Gaillac for your wine tasting. Arrive at an exceptional winery whose authentic structures are examples of traditional architecture. You’ll be greeted by the owner for an overview of the winemaking process followed by a tasting of their organic and biodynamic wines. In the summer you can enjoy a glass of wine while strolling through the beautiful winery’s garden.After your relaxing wine tasting, begin the drive back to Toulouse. Wonderful tour! Our guide Tiphaine was so lovely and knowledgeable. Albi is well worth visiting and being able to meet and talk to the winemakers was amazing. Would definitely recommend this tour.
