Meet your guide in central Strasbourg for your morning or afternoon wine tour. After boarding your 8-passenger minivan, travel away from the hustle and bustle of Strasbourg, and along the beautiful Alsace Wine Route (Route des Vins d'Alsace), a 105-mile (170-km) stretch of road that meanders through the bright-green foothills of the Vosges mountains and past Alsace’s prized vineyards.
Your first stop along the route is the pretty little town of Obernai. Hop out for a walking tour around Obernai’s winding streets, full of typical half-timbered houses decorated in multicolored tiles, before arriving at a local winery for a wine-tasting session.
Learn how the region’s dry and sunny climate, complex geology, favorable soils and sun exposure produce Alsace’s aromatic white wine. Note the range of fruity, light, dry and spicy flavors as you sample most or all of the seven different varietals that the region produces, including Riesling and gew□rztraminer wine.
Continue along the Alsace Wine Route to your second stop, a typical Alsace caveau (wine cellar). Taste more local wine here, and learn how the cave’s cold temperatures and darkness allow for optimal storage and aging.

Had beautiful views of the region and quaint towns.2 tastings the second of which was at Durrmann. Very interesting organic wine maker.Julie was a good guide, well worth it.

We have done a number of wine tastings in many countries and this was one of the best. Our guide, Julie, was great--she knew and provided information about the places we drove through and the wines we were tasting. There were six of us and we all had the opportunity to taste and ask questions and participate. We prefer red wines and Julie made sure we were able to taste them, but this area is known for its whites and they were good also. Even if you prefer reds, this is a great tour to take.

Small group tour to a couple of wineries in Alsace. Both establishments were different and offered excellent information and wine to taste. Very nice way to see the country side as the scenery was fabulous. I would highy recommend this tour....only hiccup was determining where the pickup spot was!

Not worth the money. Having said that, our tour guide Florence made up for it with her knowledge of the region. The wineries visited were mediocre.

This was so fun! Lovely addition to our stop in Strasbourg.

As this was a small group tour, in fact we were only two, it was ideal. Our driver was generous with his knowledge of the area and then we enjoyed two visits to vineyards and met the wine-makers who explained their personal growing process to us. Really interesting, well worthwhile and of course we bought wine.

My husband and I visited Strasbourg in May. We booked the half-day tour and were absolutely delighted to spend the afternoon touring two vineyards on the Alsace Wine Route with Pauline. Pauline truly loves what she does and was incredibly informative - we felt like locals by the end of the day, as she shared not only her knowledge of the art of Alsatian winemaking but also local history as we traveled. There wasn't a question we asked that she wasn't able to answer, and we asked a LOT of questions. A wonderful experience and highly recommended!

Excellent tour guide, knowledgeable and informative. Small group which made the experience pleasurable. The towns and vineyards visited were quaint and charming.
