Giverny is the second most visited cultural site of tourists coming to Paris, located 80km from the capital, it is in this village at the gateway to Normandy that Claude Monet lived part of his life with his wife and children. In this pink house built and expanded in length (40 meters for only 5 meters wide), the artist lived his passion for painting, photography and gardening.
Visit the birthplace of Impressionism (own expense), to see absolutely for novices or initiates so as to understand a part of the French cultural heritage.
