Stop At: Musee du Debarquement Utah Beach, Sainte-Marie-du-Mont, Manche, Basse-Normandie, Normandy
You’ll join your expert guide in Paris aboard a comfortable, private coach. On the way to Normandy, learn the details of the Allied preparations for D-Day, the largest amphibious assault in history. Your guide, a fluent English-speaker, will stay with you throughout the tour to tell the story of the operation and answer questions from history buffs and curious minds.
On Utah Beach, your first stop, the Allies quickly defeated the German forces. You’ll visit an extraordinary D-Day museum housed in an old German bunker on the landing beach itself. The collection here brings home both the scale and the personal sacrifice involved in the operation, with an original B-26 airplane on display along with collections of soldiers’ letters home.

Stop At: Office de Tourisme intercommunal de Grandcamp-Maisy, Grandcamp-Maisy, Calvados, Basse-Normandie, Normandy
Next, experience some of the culture and traditions of Normandy. Many Allied soldiers found shelter with local farmers. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to tour one, featuring a 17th-century barn, locally-made apple cider and traditional apple brandy. Lunch is served at a restaurant in a quiet port nearby.

Stop At: Pointe du Hoc, Cricqueville-en-Bessin, Calvados, Basse-Normandie, Normandy
After your meal, your coach takes you to Pointe du Hoc. From Pointe du Hoc, you’ll get a sense of the challenges the Allies faced, with views of the English Channel and intimidating cliffs blocking access inland. Cliffs combined with enemy fire to make the landing at Omaha Beach a desperate battle for survival.

Stop At: Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, Colleville-sur-Mer, Calvados, Basse-Normandie, Normandy
We’ll also have the opportunity to pay our respects to the fallen at the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer. The cemetery is located on a bluff that overlooks Omaha Beach, which was one of the landing beaches of the D-Day invasion. Theodore Roosevelt, Jr., son of President Theodore Roosevelt and a Medal of Honor recipient, is buried here together with the almost 10,000 soldiers who sacrificed their lives. Your guide will use the time spent driving to provide enriching commentary and answer questions, preparing you for each stop on the tour. You'll have time to look around the cemetery, visit the wall of the missing and awe-inspiring memorial, and look down upon Omaha, the beach where the Allies faced the stiffest resistance and suffered the most casualties.
The journey back to Paris gives you time to reflect on all you’ve seen and the tremendous courage and sacrifice of those who fought here.

The day trip overall was incredible. We had a fantastic time at every stop. It was a fantastic way to experience our history. The cider tasting was incredible, the host was very nice and well learned at his craft. The only complaint I had was one of our guides we had two had so many piercings in/around her mouth that she was extremely difficult to understand. Thankfully the other guide did most of the talking.

The trip made the history of D-Day, so much more come alive! Our 2 guides/ hosts could not have done a better job of providing a fantastic experience, And the driver was very competent and accommodating. We heard so many stories of what led up to the Allied invasion on June 6, 1944, as well as what happened on that longest day! Would go back to do the trip over again with those 2 gentlemen! I am fairly knowledgeable in WW2, and I learned things I didn’t know. The cider tour was a lot of fun too. Enjoyed the cider and the dogs. Lunch was excellent! Great setting at harbor restaurant. Could not have asked for anything more! Thank you so much! Dave and Cindy Wilson

The amount of information and sites packed into this day makes it worth every penny. When it says “lunch” I envisioned a sandwich and chips and was pleasantly surprised for a lovely sit down lunch with a main course and dessert. Our guides Anatole and Brad struck the right note with information and letting people rest on the bus when needed. It is a LONG day, make no mistake. We left the hotel at 6:15am to meet at the rendezvous point and got back around 9:30pm. It’s worth it. Wear comfortable clothing and settle in for a memorable day.

We took the tour that included both beaches, the cemetery, museum, cider tasting, and lunch. It was a very long day, but well worth the trip. Our tour guides, Brad and Ansul, were very knowledgeable and entertaining! We were transported in a very comfortable bus with ample space. The tour was very well paced allowing enough time for each stop, to include restroom and snack breaks. We enjoyed visiting the Cider Distillery and the lunch was EXCELLENT! We highly recommend this tour. It is an awe inspiring trip that you will truly enjoy! The tour was provided by City Wonders.

Excellent trip, was able. To honor my father and other World War 2 vets! THis was something we had wanted to do for many years. brad and Anayole were great tour guides.

Amazing tour and very educational. Brad and Zach are the best tour guides that I have had all week here in Paris! You learn a lot and laugh even more with these two, don’t be the last one on the bus... you may just have to tell a joke! A common complaint is wanting more time at certain places, I do agree, however I wouldn’t be able to choose what to take out of the tour, it’s all so wonderful! I would highly recommend this this tour to my friends and family.

Amazing tour
Brad and Zach were GREAT.
Perfect guides with a wealth of information about Normandy but also great tips about Paris. Being on both Utah and Omaha beaches were amazing and surreal. Pointe du Hoc and American Cemetery were just as powerful to visit. The lunch was fantastic and the visit to the apple cider farm house tasting was beautiful and delicious. I look forward coming back and spending more time in Normandy but at least I was able to spend part of a day at a place that has been on my bucket list for many years. I would highly recommend this tour to everybody -
Normandy beaches were absolutely worth every minute. It was a great tour however one of our tour guides Fred was nice but made numerous anti-American comments that he passed off as jokes but it was obvious that he doesnt care much about people from the US. Everybody on the tour was from the United States and that was definitely not the place for those comments. The cider tasting was a big let down and lunch was only okay but again the beaches were fantastic.
