    Explore the grounds deep underneath the streets of Paris.

    On this guided tour of the Catacombs you will explore the haunting burial place of over 6 million Parisians. The Catacombs were limestone quarries where stones were mined to build some of the most famous bridges and buildings in all of Paris. By the late 1700s bodies were exhumed from the cemeteries and moved to the Catacombs.

    You will learn why Catacombs are an important piece in France's history as a hiding place for the resistance during various wars, and how they are now used by French citizens.

    It was great to get there early and skip the line. There's not much to read when you're inside so having a guide is a great way to learn more. I'd recommend this tour.

    This was an amazing tour!!! LOVED our guide! So fun we would do this again!!

    Amazing fun for the whole family. Our guide was in line bright and early, which allowed us to avoid the line and early entry into the catacomns. He was also extremely knowledgeable! Our kids, ages 13, 11 and 8, thought this was a trip highlight. I was concerned it might be scary, but they thought it was extremely interesting. Our guide even helped us find the metro and a good lunch spot after the tour. The only negative to this tour is that it did not have audio listening devices. People are to speak in hushed tones in the catacombs and it was sometimes difficult to hear our guide.

    Fantastic tour! Would recommend it to everyone. Our guide Frederick ?sp was VERY knowledge and fun! We had a fun group of people and many laughs were had by all! Wouldn't hesitate to do it again!
