The visit to the Ile de la Cit□ and the Ile Saint Louis will give you a summary of 2000 years of history of Paris.
The Ile de la Cit□, from the cradle of the city, Lutetia, to the great transformations of the nineteenth century by Baron Haussmann.
This guided tour of the island of the City will begin with the prestigious Place Dauphine which was the privileged place of residence of a mythical couple: Yves Montand and Simone Signoret. In front of this royal setting of the seventeenth century, your guide will show you the most beautiful equestrian statue of Paris: King Henry IV statue which has in its right arm a well hidden treasure.
The guided tour of the Ile de la Cit□ will continue along the former palace of the kings of France including magnificent medieval towers worthy of a castle and wearing curious names. You will then discover the clock's oldest Paris Renaissance style whose hands are gilded with gold leaf.
We will continue the flower market and birds created in the nineteenth century before heading to the Notre Dame de Paris and its gargoyles restored by Viollet le Duc and immortalized by Victor Hugo in his novel "Notre Dame de Paris "where your guide will reveal the secrets of its facades.
Then browse an unknown area, one of the canons of Notre Dame.
You will continue on the Ile Saint Louis by discovering these wonderful mansions of the seventeenth century inhabited by many famous people, docks, St. Louis Street in the island, the Church, the H tel Lambert and many others ... the whole constituting a prodigious architectural complex of the XVII century.
