Meet your instructor at the cooking school in Vieille Ville, Nice's old town. With your small group, head into the hustle and bustle of the local Cours Saleya market to shop for your ingredients. The seaside city of Nice enjoys year-round sunshine, and the colors and flavors of the fresh food on sale bring the marketplaces to life.Wander the many stalls and vendors with your instructor for about 1.5 hours. Head to a local butcher for your meat, or stroll down to the harbor to snag the fishermen's latest catch. The menu for each cooking class varies according to season, but the ingredients are always fresh and represent the character and flair of southern France's distinctive cuisine. After picking up all the ingredients you’ll need for your class, head back to the cooking school to whip up a storm!Enjoy a hands-on cooking experience led by your chef-instructor. Make your own starter, main course and dessert before sitting down with your fellow students to enjoy the fresh food you've prepared (see sample menu below). After four hours of shopping, chopping, seasoning and dining, your Nice cooking class will come to an end.Sample Menu:Starter:- Cream of celery soup
Main course:- Filet of white fish with a ginger butter sauce
- Asparagus and creamy risotto
Dessert:- Strawberry custard
