When your cruise ship docks at the Villefranche-sur-Mer port, just up the coast from Nice, your guide will pick you up from the cruise terminal in a 8-person luxury minivan and whisk you away on your half-day shore excursion to Antibes, Cannes and St-Paul-de-Vence.
Admire views of the French Riviera as you drive south along the Mediterranean coast to picturesque Antibes, a popular seaside resort town. Hop out to walk along the harbor, wander the town’s charming streets and listen as your guide points out historical points of interest. Then visit the world-famous harbor of Billionaire's Quay, home to some of the world’s largest and most impressive yachts.
Continue south along the coast to the chic city of Cannes. Marvel at gorgeous beaches as you drive along Croisette Boulevard (Promenade de la Croisette), lined with luxury hotels, expensive shops and restaurants. Arrive at the Festival Palace (Palais des Festivals et des Congr□s), where the Cannes International Film Festival is held each year. See celebrity handprints on the walls and feel like a star as you mount the steps!
Take a different route on the way back to Villefranche, this time through the beautiful Proven al countryside. Stop to explore the fortified medieval village of St-Paul-de-Vence, the home of many popular actors and artists such as Marc Chagall.

This was a great tour and a great company. The van was very nice and the driver was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We came off of a cruise ship and did not have a lot of time so he allowed us to take off what we did not want to see and add on time in the places we wanted

This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide, Marion was so informative, charming and friendly. We loved spending time with her and learning so much about the area. What a fantastic way to spend half a day!

Seven people nice minivan. Friendly driver maximized our time even with bad traffic due to Cannes Film Festival.

While I was very excited to see these three cities offered as an option, the tour didn't live up to my expectations. Our tour guide told us briefly about each city and simply let us off the busin each city and gave us a time when we would be picked up. I guess I expected the tour guide to accompany us for at least part of the time as is the usual practice on other tours I have taken.
The choice of the cities was fine. Cannes is a bit disappointing. You are dropped in front of the steps of the building where the film festival is held and had time to walk up and down the strip and see the names of stars who have won at the film festival. Antibes was a bit better. You can explore the waterfront and see where the Picasso Museum is located, but not more time than a cursory glance. You can see large yachts at a distance. There was an event scheduled at the harbor that day so we couldn't get too close.
The most fascinating stop is the walled-city of St. Paul-de-Vence. You could spend a much great amount of time exploring this site. However, again it would have been much better to have had a commentary on some of the walk through the town and then time to explore alone.
If I were in charge of planning this tour, I would definitely include having the tour guide take a more active role in touring the cities and narrating the tour and not be primarily a bus driver.
