Jump aboard a boat from Cannes to the famous village of St Tropez, a fabulous destination if you’re looking to see more of the French Riviera. As you relax on the boat ride, enjoy the views of the Mediterranean coast from the water.
The ferry crossing is approximately one hour and 15 minutes from Cannes, and then the rest of the day is yours to explore St Tropez. The sunny seaside town of St Tropez became a popular resort destination after the end of World War II, with an influx of artists moving to the area and the beginnings of the Y□-y□ cultural movements of the nineteen sixties. St Tropez then began attracting the European and American jet set, who were attracted to the town for its seaside setting, glitz and glamour.
Spend the day discovering the varied delights of St Tropez at your leisure. From windsurfing classes and sightseeing to simply lazing on the beach, the town has a great deal to offer!
Perhaps head off to explore the Old Port and marvel at the million-dollar yachts that line the waterside. Stroll through town center and nip into the chic shops and boutiques, or peruse the charming markets. Alternatively, leave the hustle and bustle of the port behind you and discover the La Ponche fishing quarter. Follow the cobbled streets to St Tropez Church ( glise de St Tropez) and capture the scenery on camera. Walk up to the 17th-century Citadelle de St Tropez for beautiful views over the city. Art lovers can visit the town’s Mus□e de l’Annonciade and see works by Signac, Denis, Matisse, Picasso and more. Back near the harbor, enjoy a delicious meal by the sea and soak up the sun on a pristine white-sand beach.

The guide was AWESOME!! He was extremely informative, witty and personable. He personally made sure everyone got good pics and anything else we wanted or needed. The captain was very gracious and took a pic with me. Again - one of the BEST tours durinour vacation.

Took myself on a solo trip to visit several areas in France. The ferry ride from Cannes to Saint Tropez was one of the many highlights during of my vacation. The ferry departed on time. There was ample space on both levels of the ferry. The scenery along the coastline was breathtaking. The crew was courteous, and the time allowed in Saint Tropez was just enough. Part of the adventure of a solo trip is the opportunity to figure things out on your own. This ferry ride was so accommodating that I didnt have the chance to worry. Kudos to Viator, the ferry operators and the great service workers and merchants in Saint Tropez.

The most amazing time of my life.

Check in at the Port of Cannes on August 30 was easy breezy. The wait to get on was just 15 minutes as we needed to let the boat to Monaco leave first. The ferry to St Tropez was clean, fast and efficient. There was plenty of staff on board to answer any questions and they passed around snacks and cold drinks for purchase. The entire boat ride was about an hour but it went by so fast because you are in the South of France after all and the scenery is breathtaking. Once in St Tropez you could take the bus 7705bus depot was literally a 2 minute walk from the Pier where the boat docked to Pampelonne Beach which was wonderful or you could just walk around the shop filled town and have a cocktail at the famous Senequier Restaurant where all the celebrities go and you can just people watch. Ferry leaves back to St Tropez on time, to the minute, so don't be late. A cab ride from Monaco to Cannes cost us 180 Euros when we learned we missed the last train so I cant imagine what a cab ride from St Tropez to Cannes is. Its a wonderful excursion, don't hesitate to do the ferry, you will be pleased. I look forward to booking again with Viator.

Enough time to arrive at St. Tropez to pick up the bus to spend a couple of hours at the public sandy beaches of Pampellonne and enough time to get back to town and walk around downtown before heading to pick up the ferry back to Cannes or Nice.

Beautiful tour however was miss informed on departure time. Website wasn't clear so there for we endgured 2 hour coach and 2 hour train journey back to Cannes

Our guide Stefano was full of great stories and facts about the island. We really enjoyed this tour and it gave us a really good overall feel of the Island. We certainly discovered some parts we would have missed without all the inside knowledge of our guide and driver.
Best to do early on during your visit. -
Great way to make the trip from Cannes to St Tropez. Seeing the coast from the water was a beautiful site. Would recommend. Great value.

We had a great trip on the ferry from Cannes to St Tropez. Crew was very helpful in answering questions and very punctual. I only wish that we had more time to explore!
