Travel down Bordeaux's broad boulevards to admire major attractions including H tel de Ville (City hall) and Bordeaux Cathedral (Cath□drale Saint-Andr□ de Bordeaux). Cross the city with its 18th and 19th centuries buildings and pass over the Bridge Chaban-Delmas. The bus will take you over to the right bank of the Garonne River, from where you will be able to appreciate the architectural unity of the sumptuous 18th century building fa ade as well as the ambitious works projects by highly-regarded international designers and architects : Chartrons neighborhood, La Cit□ du Vin - the new emblematic Wine Museum, Gambetta square, the public garden, cours Victor Hugo and many others.
After 1.5 hours exploring the city by coach, hop off and follow your guide along the atmospheric narrow lanes Bordeaux’s pedestrian center. Explore the Old Town, where you'll find famous sights including the Grand Th□ tre de Bordeaux, the opera house whose striking pillars dominate Place de la Com□die. In BORDEAUX these days it is better to take a waking tour instead.
It is becoming a wonderful city, specially the city center, to live in and go walking every where, no cars
and polusion. -
I booked the tour fro 8 adults and 1 child as a tour guide. In 25 years I have never had so many complaints!
Comments such as the guide spoke 80 in French and a tiny amount in English...she spent too long on places, the tour was too long could have been 1 hour!
I took my staff on the 1hr tour on the open bus. This had earphones for every language and was perfect.
On my next trip to a wonderful city, Bordeuax, I will never use this tour again
