This was a perfect way to really get up close and personal with the vineyards and villages of the area.
We were 2 people and the pace was great with Jean-Michelle as our guide. We saw a bigger winery and a smaller village one so great to have the comparison.
Lunch was fabulous in a lovely village Puligny-Montrachet. It was so nice we went back the next day and had a leisurely two hour lunch fulll menu.So glad we did this trip

This is the absolute best way to experience Burgundy! Our guide, Guillaume, was very knowledgeable and shared lots of interesting facts about the local area, viticulture, and the wine-making process during the ride. The most interesting and eye-opening part of the trip for me was comparing wines from the towns we had just ridden through - the difference in taste from grapes grown just a few kilometers apart was astounding and really helped explain the importance of terroir to Burgundy wine. The route we took was on quiet country roads and bike paths, and passed through gorgeous villages like Orches, La Rochepot, and Meursault where we were able to stop and take lots of photos. My husband and I both agreed that this just wouldn't have been the same experience if we had driven. We're already planning to come back next fall to ride through the vineyards when they change color!

This trip could not be better a full view over hills very well organized and we have seen number of villages and the guide ERIC was very good and very co-operative and have attention to details .
the only negative point is that there was no time for any pics on the ride. -
Really well done. The views-terrific. The riding...fun. I would have preferred that we tour two small wineries instead of one large corporate winery and one small. The small winery chosen was terrific. Best done as part of a group.

Excellent bike tour. Our guide was fantastic. The region is gorgeous, the bikes good, the guide very focused on safety and above all the wine tastings were wonderful. I learned a great deal about the Burgundy region's wines. I'll sign up again next year !!

We met up with Guillaume outside the tourist information centre in Beaune and after meeting the other six people on the tour which accommodates a maximum of eight people we headed out of town to begin our tour through the small villages of the Beaune Valley.
Thirty kilometres later, a delicious lunch, three wine tastings, memories of beautiful villages and verdant vineyards and a lot of expert information from our guide Guillaume, we arrived back in Beaune well satisfied and contented.
The bikes were comfortable, in very good condition and Guillaume was well prepared for the two children who were part of the tour with their parents, having appropriately sized bicycles and a trailer should the youngest child become too tired to continue. This proved to be prescient as her father did tow her much of the way and it didnt slow down or inconvenience our group in any way.
Probably the only suggestion would be that another wine tasting earlier in the day would have been good, for example: lunch provided a perfect opportunity for a wine to be matched with a meal on the lunch menu.

Had a lovely experience, despite the pouring rain, in Burgundy. Our tour was perfect and we met great people! Tour guides were spot on and the biking was gorgeous!

Had a wonderful day. Tour was at a comfortable pace, guide knowledgable and very personable, the wineries and lunch terrific. The countryside is absolutely beautiful.
