Board your minivan in Avignon and head off for a full day of wine tasting and sightseeing, with lunch and wonderful views. Taste wine from the main Crus (vineyards producing quality wine) in Provence, with the help of your wine specialist.
Ch teauneuf du Pape welcomes you for its famous red wine, but do you know about the confidential white wine production? Once you have discovered the secrets of Ch teauneuf du Pape, head to the northern part of the Vaucluse to taste wines from Gigondas and S□guret; two hilltop villages producing with excellent Cru wines.
Your day includes a mix of wine tastings in traditional wineries and visits to the villages. You will stop among the vines, walk through the narrow streets of the old villages. Enjoy the beautiful views and 2-course lunch in a local restaurant : fresh home-made courses from Provence.

Caroline is an amazingly competent tour guide who went above and beyond her line of duty. She was informative and empathized with us as a group. The lunch was good but the views were spectacular.The only regret was that we did not get to see Gigondas wineries. Will do trip again especially with Caroline.

We were a bit skeptical because there were very few reviews and not very recent. Our worries were quickly calmed when we met Thierry. He was very knowledgeable not only of the region but of the wines as well. We made 4 great stops, tasting some amazing wines and to top it off, lunch at the castle couldn't have been better. Definitely recommend this trip.

We had the best time and the guide was wonderful. Lunch at the castle was very good and the wineries had marvelous wines to taste. I would do this tour again. Before the tour I e-mailed Viator about parking and was given several options. I was a little skeptical that they would reply but they did promptly and with good information. This was test for us and they passed with flying colors. We will use them on other trips in the future.

Great tour! Thierry was great, and we learned a lot. We changed one winery to another since it was crowded, which was a good move, and then he added a fifth winery for us to try. Highly recommend.

Our Tour Guide, Jacques, was great awesome sense of humor and knew his wine and vineyards. Went to two smaller vineyards prior to lunch fabulous! and Chateauneuf du Pape visit. Jacques wanted to take us to more, but we finally were totally satiated with all the different grape varietals. Wonderful trip!!!

Excellent tour, great guide who was very knowledgeable about the region and the wine. We also found the lunch at the picturesgue castle was a great extra. Highly recommend this tour!

There were only four on our tour. Our driver/guide, Terry, was very knowledgable and accommodating. We visited serveral wineries and tasting rooms for a good variety of wines in the area. We had lunch at a lovely hotel in the garden overlooking vines and olive trees. I highly recommend this tour.

Thierry met us in front of the Avignon Tourist Office, in total there were 3 groups and 5 people total. Thierry made the introductions and did a magic job of making everyone feel like they knew each other for years. Theirry's knowledge of the region, terroir and wines of Provence is vast. We learned so much! Theirry's choice for our lunch spot was fantastic! This day was the best of our 3 week trip to Europe... thanks to Thierry!

Absolutely amazing tour, a must for not only wine lovers but anyone curious about the region, it's history and customs.
JB, our tour guide and a local to the region, was a wells of knowledge.
Wine expert himself, JB was, in a very entertaining manner , telling us about the wine also explaining the history of why the wine laws and traditions the way they are today.
The lunch was such a pleasant surprise! Set in a historical Chateau , great food and service.
Overall, that day was one of the most memorable experience we had in our Italy-France vacation this year.

Its an expensive tour, in fact I think it is rather overpriced for what you get. Nevertheless we had an amazing day, we tasted some great wines, learnt a lot about Provence and its wines, and our guide JB was fantastic.
