Meet your guide and head out of Avignon to visit one of the most ancient aqueducts from the Roman world. Take a walking tour in a beautiful setting over the Pont du Gard, a UNESCO World Heritage site and build over the Gard river. Be sure to take plenty of photos before driving to the ancient Roman city of Orange for a panoramic tour of the main monuments, triumphal arch and antique theater, another site on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Enjoy some free time in Orange.
After seeing the Roman sites, discover the village of Ch teauneuf du Pape and its vineyards for two wine tasting sessions with a professional sommelier. In cellars formerly used by the Romans and the popes, taste four wines from Ch teauneuf du Pape in each session, including red and white wines.
