Standing on the German bunkers on the Cliffs and if the weather is clear you will see the white cliffs of Dover.

Stop At: Batterie Todt, Audinghen, Pas-de-Calais, Hauts-de-France
You will visit the museum in a Todt Battery bunker.

Stop At: Blockhaus d'Eperlecques, Eperlecques, Pas-de-Calais, Hauts-de-France
It is the largest bunker built by the Nazis in Northern France. It was built to be a V2 launching site. It is big, a part was destroyed but is is still a huge building.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Bois des Huit Rues V 1 Rocket Site, Hazebrouck, Nord, Hauts-de-France
Now you will visit a V1 launching site with its famous ski shaped buildings, only the non magnetic building was destroyed the rest is still there.

Claude was a great guide -- we were the only ones on the tour so he was able to tell us not only about these WWII sites, but also some of the WWI sites in the area as well. It was a full day of touring, but so interesting. Even though it rained, the weather made the trip even more emotional -- we certainly had a better understanding of what our soldiers went through during these wars.
