    Meet at a shopin central Queenstown andshuttle to the rafting base to kickoff thisfamily-friendly adventurethroughSkippers Canyon. Thescenic drive boastsastounding viewsof the area, which is jam-packed with history and gold-mining relics. Your guide will enthrall you with tales from the region'sfascinating past.
    Once you'reprovided withspecialized rafting gear to keep warm and safe, taketo the water at aput-in point near apipeline built in 1864. You may recognize the surrounding landscapeof the 'Ford ofBruinen' fromThe Lord of the Rings.
    The1- to 1.5-hour trip takes you floating down a gentle grade of mild Class I and II rapids, including time for a swim or rock-jump into the Shotover River. Back on shore, you'll return to central Queenstown where yourhalf-day tour concludes.

    This was a fantastic time with a little excitement and much more enjoyment! I would highly recommend!

    Great experience for the whole family. We went with 3 girls age 10, 8 and 5. Everyone loved the experience and I think it's just th right length for the kids. All the guides were friendly and experienced - they are also great in interacting with the little ones.
