Enjoy the scenic route from Christchurch to Mount Cook; departing Christchurch we travel through the rich pastoral farmland of the Canterbury Plains before heading to the small farming township of Geraldine for a morning tea stop (own expense).
Journey through rolling green valleys as the tour continues further inland and the road begins to climb to the historic Burkes Pass. Enjoy breathtaking views as you descend back down into the valley towards glacier-fed Lake Tekapo and visit the famous Church of the Good Shepherd which stands in picturesque solitude on the foreshores of the lake.
After a short stop at Lake Tekapo, the adventure continues up the western side of Lake Pukaki taking you to the foot of New Zealand's tallest mountain, Mount Cook. Gaze in awe at the alpine surroundings as you arrive at Mount Cook Village where your tour concludes.
Enjoy exploring surrounding walking tracks or experience a scenic flight by helicopter or skiplane (not included). We strongly recommend pre-booking accommodation as hotel availability can be limited in Mount Cook Village.行程概要出發地點

The breaks are a bit too short and the trip could be quite tiring if you have a young child travelling with you. Not very happy about the way we're treated in relation to other Caucasian passengers.

The trip was OK but we were left in the road with our suitcases when we reached Mt Cook Village, not in our actual hotel Mt Cook Lodge. Mt Cook is a small village so drop off at our lodging would have been a plus.

the driver is really good and experienced. I enjoy his commentaries on the road.
