    產品介紹

After morning pickup from your central Sydney hotel, travel south by comfortable coach to Bald Hill Lookout, about an hour's drive. Stretch your legs and admire panoramic views from the 980 foot high (300m) overlook of the Illawarra region, Tasman Sea and Sea Cliff Bridge. The hill is a popular spot for hang gliding and parasailing and has roots in aviation history. In the late 1800s, a local man experimented here with aeronautics, contributing to the eventual development of airplanes.

Return to your coach and drive across the iconic Sea Cliff Bridge, which runs parallel to the steep sandstone cliffs of the Illawarra Escarpment. Built in 2005 to bypass a section of road known for rockfalls, Sea Cliff Drive has won accolades and been the backdrop for car commercials.

Continue south, past great surf beaches and pretty towns dotting the New South Wales coast. Arrive at Jervis Bay, its turquoise waters surrounded by seaside villages, white sandy beaches and national parks. Have a tasty lunch of fish and chips in the charming town of Huskisson, then board your boat for a 1.5-hour dolphin-watching cruise. The 55 foot (17m) triple-deck catamaran features three viewing decks, perfect for spotting playful dolphins and other creatures, including humpback and southern right whales that migrate through these waters from September to December. Feel free to enjoy complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits during your cruise.

After your cruise, reboard your coach and travel north to the coastal town of Kiama, known for great surfing. Enjoy a stop where you can purchase afternoon tea, then check out the famous Kiama blowhole, the largest in the world. The aboriginal people named this place kiama, meaning 'where the sea makes noise.' The name was inspired by sprays of water that shoot from the blowhole, reaching heights of up to 82 feet (25m). Also take a look at the Kiama Light nearby, an operating lighthouse since 1887, and a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Once you have taken in Kiama, reboard your coach to Sydney where you are returned to your hotel in the evening to end your tour.

    Very nice tour

We had no idea the bus ride from Sydney to Jervis Bay was so long. Yes, there is some beautiful scenery along the coast, but it was a 12 hour day and almost 8 of it was spent on the bus. We made a brief stop at a lookout point on the way, and at the Kiama blowhole on the return. We had lunch in Jervis Bay, at a very crowded restaurant. The cruise was nice, although we only saw two dolphins. Of course there is no guarantee so that's not the tour company's fault. I would not recommend booking this tour. It's not worth being in the bus for eight hours.

In a very windy day visiting Kiama blowhole and getting wet. Although we did not see dolphins, the boat ride was great. Enjoyed the lunch too.

It was a long but pretty drive down the coast. We did not see any dolphins. The boat ride in the bay was fun. the stop at the blow hole was the highlight as we also walked out on the rocks and saw some wonderful views of the ocean.

Fabulous trip! Although we didn't see any dolphins we did see whales up close! A mum and her baby we playing right next to the boat. The crew on the boat were great and passionate about what they do. Couldn't have wished for a better experience.

For our trip, unfortunately no dolphins appeared on that day. However, our guide made it up to us by bringing us to a nice waterfall location. The Jervis Bay boat itself provided a nice cruise.

Other than Jervis Bay, we visited other places with the best being the Blow Hole spot at Kiama. This tour brought us to these places that are much further from the city area.

I had real problems with Viator. I was given a contact number for the local operators of the tour and told that I must confirm the trip the day before travel. I spent over an hour and half trying to get through on the telephone on the number given - this cost my daughter over 50 Australian dollars as I was using her mobile phone. We contacted Viator on their website - where they promise a 36 hour reply. We explained that we did not know where to meet the tour bus and that this was really urgent. They did not reply - at all! We managed to find the tour bus, and the local operator explained that the number we had been given was for travel agents and is rarely answered! The tour itself was very good - but Viator's customer service was very poor and, in total, cost me more than 100 Australian dollars on phone calls and taxis trying to find the tour bus!

A very good day out. We say plenty of dolphins, and the overall experience was good. Jervis Bay was very scenic, the food was good, all staff were very helpful and professional. All in all a very good day, definitely recommended.

Brilliant courier. Dolphins were incredible. Well informed and advised as trip progressed.
  • Gary M (2007-08-07)2

The dolphin cruise was good, and we saw seals and dolphins. The rest of the day was spent mainly on a coach - a 13-hour day for a 2-hour cruise. I'm not sure if it's worth it.
