Start your 4-hour tour on Pitt Street and head head towards Phillip Lane. Established in the 1840’s, Phillip Lane is now one of the last remaining lane-ways built to service Macquarie Street Houses. Enjoy a soft drink while you take in the history of this lane-way, thought to have been the inspiration behind Patterson’s famous poem ‘Clancy of the Overflow’.
