Depart Hillarys Boat Harbour on a morning ferry for your day out at Rottnest Island! After a lightning fast 40 minute ocean crossing you will arrive at the beautiful Rottnest Island. With an endless list of things to see and do, you have the freedom to plan your day as you go! Go to one of Rottnest's 63 bays and beaches for a relaxing dip. There is also the option to take a guided tour, hire a bike, or arrange a day pass for the shuttle bus that operates around the island - the choices are endless!
Cafes and restaurants are located in the main Settlement area to purchase food, or pack a picnic lunch to take with you on your day out.

Amazing.The kids loved biking around the island and stopping at several beaches for a dip in the water.They really enjoyed the water park by the entrance where they spent several hours playing and meeting kids from all over the world.The good was also great along with the family friendly atmosphere

Ferry experience was great, fast, efficient. Smooth. Amazing to watch the guys loading huge numbers of bikes on and off.
Bought a bus ticket to use around the island, jump off and on all the way around. The drivers talk about each area they are proud of. -
An excellent trip in every respect.
We were picked up at our serviced apartment on Hay Street by a courtesy bus and enjoyed a pleasant 30 minute drive to Hillarys Boat Harbour, the driver provided a commentary on the various suburbs and coastline during the trip.
It was a pleasant 30 minute trip to Rottnest Island, embarking and disembarking onto the catamaran was effortless and at the end of our day the catamaran was there waiting to take us back to Hillarys Boat Harbour and our bus then drove us back to our accommodation in East Perth.

Fantastic place, next time we visit we intend staying on the island for a couple of days to fully explore it.
