Your tour starts at Habitatnoosa, just 30 minutes outside of Noosa, where you will board your purpose-built vessel for a cruise along the pristine Lake Cootharaba, before moving into the dark, tranquil, mirrored waterways of the Everglades. A short stop at Fig Tree Point before paddling upstream in your canoe through ancient landscapes, mirrored waterways and sub-tropical rainforest to re-join your group for a morning tea together guide in the tranquil surrounds of historic Harry’s hut.
Explore, take a swim in pristine waters, photograph the abundant wildlife or simply relax in this unique natural environment.
After morning tea, enjoy a leisurely river cruise with your tour group back to Habitat Noosa, where a roast lunch* will be ready. (*vegetarian + vegan also available upon request). My favourite thing I did in Australia. Excellent from the moment I got on the boat withTrevor our tour guide to going up the everglades in the tranquil water. A lovely lunch, a great canoe trip, a refreshing swim in the river with the cat fish and happy people to be with. :- :-

Oh wow! Great fun and really informative! Our guide was clearly so knowledgeable about the area, friendly but very aware of our safety and comfort.

Absolutely loved this tour. The Everglades are incredibly beautiful and our guide Trevor was brilliant. He pointed out exact areas where specific historical events took place and told us all about the wildlife of the region. The BBQ steaks were spot on too, as was the homemade fruitcake :)

Bit of a surprise when we arrived to find out that the canoe experience was not an included part of the tour and we would have to pay extra for this. We showed them the Viator information sheet and they waived this charge. Good of them.
The tour itself and our guide was really good. We had a lovely day.
A pity though at the end of the day, as we were sorting out the issue with the extra cost for the canoe experience, that the bus to take us back to our accommodation left without us. Thank heavens for Google maps as we had no idea how to get to our hotel. -
Loved this trip from the very first moment to the very end. The Everglades are beautiful and doing the canoeing was so peaceful and fun and not really that hard work whether you paddle upstream or down we did upstream. The BBQ lunch was delicious steak or fish. Would do this trip again without hesitation and definitely recommend it.

Tour was very good. However the after service was shocking. We were left at the dock with an electrical storm breaking and not picked up for hours. Really tookb the shine off the tour. Also meant our entire evening was destroyed.
