Be sure to have your camera handy to capture extraordinary photos.When your helicopter arrives in the Yarra Valley, you’ll land at De Bortoli Yarra Valley Estate, a family-owned winery that goes back three generations. The family expanded into the Yarra Valley in the late 1980s in order to produce cool climate wines, including Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Viognier, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.Head to the winery’s elegant restaurant, Locale, named for the philosophy of using local, seasonal and organic ingredients in their superb rustic Italian cuisine. Some of the produce used in the restaurant grows in the estate’s own gardens.Enjoy an exquisite 3-course lunch paired with wine, followed by a glass of De Bortoli’s celebrated Noble One dessert wine. As you dine, take in spectacular views from the large windows in the spacious dining room.After you have lingered over a delicious meal and wine selection, return to your helicopter and fly back to Melbourne, soaking up the sight of the landscape as you fly.
