Travel to the north-east through the bush laden suburbs of Templestowe, Warrandyte and Wonga Park to the Coldstream Hills Winery at Coldstream. Established by James Halliday, one of Australia’s leading authors and commentators on wine, the wines are beautifully crafted and have enjoyed success at numerous wine shows, especially the chardonnay and pinot noir.
It’s then a short drive to the charming Medhurst Vineyard. Established in 1999, the family owned vineyard of 35 acres has a delightful elevation in the foothills of the Warramate Ranges and produces a small selection of elegant table wines.
Visit the very famous and very French Domaine Chandon. Enjoy a tour of the production facilities before settling down to a glass of premium sparkling wine (methode champenoise) while taking in the glorious vista.
It's then on Yering Station for lunch in their stunning Wine Bar Restaurant. With its world class views and cuisine, you’ll have a full a la carte selection from which to select your main course meal and glass of wine. After lunch, visit the original winery (circa 1859) that features local artworks and produce as well as estate wines to taste.
The final stop for the day is the De Bortoli Winery at Dixons Creek. As Italian as Domaine Chandon is French, it’s a great end to the day with superbly flavoured cheeses that compliment the sparkling, table and dessert wines.
Our journey home takes us through Steels Creek and Christmas Hills for superb Valley views and the occasional kangaroo.行程概要出發地點

This was an excellent trip with an excellent host - Adrian - would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a glass of vino. The lunch at Yerling Station was very good, it vastly exceeded my expectations!!!

Top day had by my husband and myself.
Bus and Bus driver were A1 We were kept informed the whole journey. The choice of wineries was special where we met well known brands along with boutique wineries. Food was delicious even having special cheeses imported from France.
A fun filled and packed day out. -
This tour was great. My tour guide and driver, Paul, was very friendly and informative. Great experience, would highly recommend it.

This tour was definitely amazing! The five differents wineries and the food was exquisted. Our tour guide did an excellent job and our group was great:). For sure it was one of my favorites!!!

This was a small group wine tour that showed not just the range of superb wines in the Yarra Valley but also the range of producer's, from small independents to large industrial sized wineries. The common factor was the sheer quality of wines on offer. We visited Coldstream Hills first with the focus on quality Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. Next was the small boutique Medhurst winery who had a more individual approach to their winemaking. They might just have been the most popular winery we visited. The followed the impressive Chandon winery with its large beautifully landscaped estate. We had a superb lunch at Yering Station with wine of course, followed by a tasting. Finally there was a cheese and wine tasting at De Bertoli finishing with their lovely dessert wine. Our guide was informative and importantly for us an excellent driver. This was certainly one of the highlights of our Australian trip. Highly recommended.

Absolutely love this tour. I compared many tours in the market, and this one definitely provides the highest quality and variety of vineyards to visit, and the lunch was just fantastic. The guide was super helpful and knowledgeable as well. Everybody had such a great time. I highly recommend it!!

Six of us joined a tour of 10 and we had a fabulous day. Paul our tour guide was wonderful - he was knowledgeable, humorous and great company. The wineries we visited were generous and the locations picturesque. Lunch at Yerring Station was delicious - the confit salmon was sensational. Dinner that night consisted of wine and cheese purchased during the day. I am not a Chardonnay or red wine drinker - the range of lighter whites / blends were sparse however in saying this I had a wonderful day in the Yarra Valley with family and friends. Thoroughly recommended.
