After morning pickup from your Melbourne hotel, drive about one hour to reach the rolling green hills of the Mornington Peninsula.
Disembark at Arthurs Seat where you can soak up views of Port Phillip Bay and the Mornington and Bellarine peninsulas. (You might even spot a wild kangaroo!).
Continue on your journey to Main Ridge Dairy to sample some of the delicious cheese which are made on site, before continuing to T'Gallant Winery to sample some locally made wine.
Browse through Strawberry and wines, and treat yourself with some goodies at Sunnyridge Strawberry Farm.
Travel south to the historic town of Flinders where you have a light lunch. Save room for a chocolate tasting at Mornington Peninsula Chocolates, where the rich hot cocoa and a variety of high quality chocolates would be equally at home in a Parisian chocolaterie.
Sweet tooth satisfied, continue a few more minutes into the hills to reach Green Olive at Red Hill, a lovely 27-acre working farm. Enjoy a private tour where your guide shows you the veggie and herb gardens, vineyards, olive groves, and animals including chickens and sheep. At the end of the tour, enjoy great views of the lake and landscape while tasting the farm's fresh olives and olive oil. Known as a foodie's paradise, the farm also produces delicious wines, tasty nibbles including homemade sausages, jams and fresh-roasted coffee, and more.

The day trip was well arranged and I got to visit the fabulous chocolate, strawberries and wine and cheese places .... the best part of course was the olive farm. The visits were well paced and it has been a very relaxing and enjoyable day for those who want to just tour around and have some nice munchies, but not to sit in the coach for too long between stops.

I enjoyed this tour as it was jam packed with lots of great places to enjoy food and wine. Simon was a good tour guide and did his best to keep us on a schedule that had at least one too many stops. I was not happy with the discrepancies between how this tour was advertised on the Viator web site and what was actually included in the tour. First it was advertised that there were hotel pick ups, and it had a very detailed list of times and hotels. This did not happen. I was informed in advance that I would need to travel about a mile from my hotel to catch the bus. It turns out it was pouring rain that morning in Melbourne and the pick up site had NO covered area to wait. in front of St Paul's Cathedral I was soaked before I even started this excursion. The description on the website included a stop/entrance at Enchanted Adventure Garden, but instead we did 2 wine tastings and a cider tasting. I had a good time seeing the Mornington Peninsula, but I felt rushed and did not like the change in itinerary from what was posted.
